This dress is absolutely stunning, and seems true to size. I used the measurements on the size chart for a size 6 & it fits well, just a bit big, so not too much that it looks too big. It has a belt to tie in a bow in the back & that will minimize it looking too big. It doesn't have to have the belt as the dress looks fine without it. While it's advertised as an Abaya for Muslim girls, there is nothing in the design that restricts it to Muslim girls. It's just a beautiful dress that most young girls will feel very special wearing. It is a modest style, w/a high neck, full, long sleeves, and hits about the ankles, making it perfect for Muslim girls, but not any different than similar dresses for young girls. The fabric is lightweight, 100% polyester that reminds me of rayon. It's a pretty true red, & the gold embossing feels thicker than the fabric itself, telling me the likelihood is the dress will last a while w/proper care. Wearing a slip or at least a half-slip will assure the thin fabric doesn't let anything show. Our girl will wear a tank style cotton undershirt, & a cotton half-slip because the material is light, & under clothing will keep her modest & comfortable in our cooler temps. There is a definite body silhouette with the light shining behind the dress, so you'll want to be prepared for that, even in warm weather. Washing instructions say hand-wash in cool/cold water to prevent fading or staining other clothing. I think it'll wash well in my front-loading machine on the most gentle setting, w/my gentle-wash clothing. I will do a short hand wash to determine if any color comes out in the water. If it does, I'll hand wash it. Hang to dry, then put in the dryer for a few minutes on the lowest heat-setting, not to dry, but to release any wrinkles that form. If you feel it needs ironing, use w/an ironing cloth & the lowest steam setting; I'm sure direct heat from even a low heat will harm the fabric. Guessing heat is not great on the gold embossing, either. The product page states it should be washed by hand & that will be fine, unless any dirt or dropped food causes a stain. It is well-made, and all the stitching at seams indicates the quality. The price seems low for the quality & beauty of the dress. I think, as my daughter said, "It's a 10!"

I ordered it for my 4-year-old daughter because she's our girly girl and she loves dresses. This fits her style 100% This dress is 100% polyester that feels luxurious and high quality. This dress is super soft and flowing with superior comfort. It has a modest fit that's better than expected. It is long, falling around the ankle, has long sleeves with gold trim and gold accents all over that will make any little girl feel like royalty. The gold belt is included and helps make this dress look regal. With proper care this dress will last long enough to pass down to a sibling, other relative, or someone else. Tip: Hand or machine wash in cold water to prevent dye transfer. Hang dry only!

This is a nice dress! The fabric is soft and comfortable. It’s made of a lightweight fabric, so be careful washing it. Aside from that, the dress is good quality and sewn well. I ordered a size 10, and it fits like a size 10. The colors match the listing photo and are very pretty. The child in our family who is wearing it really likes it. The price of about $30 is fair.

Although the dress is lovely for $30, I'm concerned about how well it's made and how it will hold up after multiple washes. However, it's currently fine, and thankfully, I'll only wear it on special occasions. The V-neck kaftan style provides a comfortable, modest fit and allows easy movement. The fabric feels soft and lightweight, making it suitable for prayer, Ramadan, Eid, or special occasions. The size worked well and fit comfortably. This abaya is ideal for special events, easy for kids to wear on their own, and soft to the touch with neat stitching. The abaya fit our eight-year-old well, but it might have looked better if she were not so slim. This kaftan provides complete, modest coverage and a loose fit, enabling young girls to enjoy unrestricted movement and comfort throughout the day; furthermore, the lively designs bring a joyful, feminine flair that promotes self-assurance and cultural identity. It's great for dressing up or just wearing around, feels good, and would make a nice gift, but I'm worried about how long it'll last.

Tried this dress for my daughter for a small family event and it honestly surprised me in a good way. The fabric feels soft on the inside so she didn’t complain once about itching, which is usually the first thing she brings up with anything “fancy”.
