This coat could not have been more perfect to go with the rest of the actual costume. It was really nice because she could actually wear the costume in it's entirety and not have to smuggle a winter coat underneath, or wear one over that would ruin the look. I completely recommend this item in addition to the actual costume if you're considering it at all and live in a cold climate. If she really wanted to, she could even wear it as a light coat. It seems made well, and for the price point, I'm very happy with this item.

Order a size larger for button space. We ordered to size but the amount of space needed to button the larger buttons makes for a little discomfort in bending/flexing around the sternum/under breast area right before the belly starts. It’s a single button spot that is our only concern with size. It’s totally manageable and our daughter has no issues wearing it but to fit our preference we would have ordered a size larger to keep the item a little longer.
