This spooky little coat is such a hit in my house! My 7-year-old absolutely loves it and says she feels just like Wednesday Addams when she wears it. This gothic "Wednesday" Black Trench Coat is heavier than expected. It seems to be well made but there were a lot of long threads hanging/coming out of it at the hems and near the buttons. To be honest, I had hoped it would fit me - I ordered the 13/14 year old size. Likely because it is made for children, the fit is weird. The sleeves are too short, but the length is fine. It is super baggy in the waist area, especially in the back. I think this would fit a shorter woman, and likely a size 4. For reference, I am 5'8", size XS (0 or 2), and if I was shorter, and fatter, it would fit okay. Also the color is duller than the pictures. Sort of mostly gray, the checks don't stand out much.

This coat really pulls off the Wednesday Addams look. As soon as my daughter put it on, she felt like she had just stepped out of the show. The dark style with a touch of drama is spot on. Honestly, the photos online don’t show how nice it actually looks in person. It did come a little wrinkled, but once I gave it a quick iron, it looked so much better and felt more high-quality. She’s already worn it a couple of times just for fun, so I’d say it was definitely a good buy.

The fabric is softer than I expected, and the stitching feels sturdy. The size fits perfectly. It’s not thick enough for winter, but for fall or early spring it’s just right. The style really stands out.I like it!
