I picked this shirt for my 4 year old daughter as an undershirt for her overalls. It's hard to find kids' clothes made of mainly cotton and then just 5% spandex for stretch. It's very warm and soft to touch. My daughter is on the thin side, at 30 lbs, so it fits her a bit loosely. Its length is well below the waist so it doesn't pull up after washing and machine drying. The lettuce collar and sleeves are a nice match and can be styled well as an undershirt for many outfits throughout the year.

This shirt is a lovely emerald shade of green. We love the longer length, suitable for leggings as well as skirts and pants. It is true to size, and the size six is perfect for our tall near-five year old, with a little room to grow. It laundered perfectly through two very warm washes (to remove manufacturing chemicals) and warm dryer, removing it for the last bit and hanging on a rack to dry. The fabric is substantial and warm but not heavy; it will be great for this fall. The high mock turtle neckline is fashionable and comfortably loose. Love it!

Where I live, we get more cool weather than warm, so having long sleeve shirts options is always a good idea. This shirt is like a basic, with a twist. The lettuce edging gives the styling a much needed boost, much like what dressing does for salad. She’s presently wearing size 5/6 so that’s what I ordered here. I found the sleeves to be a bit longer than expected, but that just means more room for growth. The length is also a little long, but it’ll work for tucking or for providing a little more bum coverage for my extremely active kiddo. The material is soft and seems comfortable. There isn’t a tag inside the neckline, so you kind of have to keep comparing the sides to see which one makes more sense to be the front vs back. Overall, it’s a decent basic that can be layered or look great as a standalone piece.
