My student normally wears a 12, and we had to re-order these in a much larger size 16. With that being said, the length is surprisingly fitting for her age 8. She is not a heavy girl, but various sizes from various countries, are considered.The fabric is heavy, similar to a denim. I found that I have to iron it to keep it crisp. Other similar products have been able to take out of the dryer shake and hang up. The dark fabric, clings to lint and needs to be lint rolled frequently. I would list the quality as quite good, but I would consider the previous statements and would not likely purchase again.

It would look cute in theory but the placements are off and the skirt is at a bad length and it looks ugly and awkward, and it's not even comfortable. If you don't want the risk of wasting your time and hopes don't get it.
