All Halloween costumes bought online or in the store are flimsy so I wasnโ€™t expecting to much. I bought it early for my 8 year old but today when she finally got to put it on I saw all these wires that were used to created the layers/ruffles of the dress start to stick out and poke my daughter. I cut them off but then the gloves had the same issue. She usually only wears her costume once but I like to give them away after but I donโ€™t think I will for this one. ... show more

This arrived yesterday. It's fine and will work but I was a little disappointed. My 8 year old seems to like it and was pleased with how it fit and looked. Here are my complaints: *Fabric is SUPER thin and it seems cheaply made. Some of the seams are already coming apart. *My daughter is 8 and a totally averaged size child (height and weight). We bought the size 8-10 years. This dress is super short. She will definitely need to wear leggings instead of just tights with it. *The hat does not stand up! I will need to stuff it with tissue paper or some such material to make it stand up at all. Wasn't expecting to have to mess with redesigning the costume in that capacity but I'll be able to make it work, I think. *I knew this but the costume does not include the broom. While I wasn't expecting the broom to come with it, the picture is a bit misleading. If it were less expensive, I would have given it 3 stars. But for the price, I expected it to be at least a little better of a fit and quality. The costume did arrive in a timely manner and I have no complaints about the company selling the item, other than that it was just a bit overpriced in my opinion. ... show more

This is a cute costume. It does look like the picture but it is not extremely durable. My daughter tried it on when we got it and wore it for maybe two hours. After that there were pieces of the string coming out of the hat and skirt. It was great for a one night Halloween costume.
