Took up paddle boarding this past summer, and fell in love with it. Only problem was that I didn’t have the apartment/car space to store a big hard board. I found out they make inflatable ones that pack down well, and did lots of research to find one that was reasonably priced, and came with all the goods. This GILI iSUP fit the bill! Includes everything you need to get started — adjustable paddle, ankle leash, 3 detachable fins (crucial for good tracking/maneuvering), manual air pump, big padded backpack (with plenty of pockets and straps), extra patches, etc. (The GILI website has lots of add-ons if you’re looking to use it for more than just paddling!) The board material feels thick and durable, but still comfortable to lay on when you need a break. The bungees are good quality, kept my stuff secure even after tipping over. The carry handles and paddle latches are extra helpful. It does take some effort to fully inflate the board, but I consider it a warm up for paddling! The backpack is clunky when you put it on, but the chest/waist straps make it manageable, even for a smaller person. Bonus — colors are vibrant and I love the design! I bought these (two) paddle boards from Gili, based on a recommendation from a friend, who sent me the link to it on Amazon. I read a bunch of reviews that made it stand out as a great all-around board, for a great price. Sounded perfect for my husband and myself, so I went ahead and ordered two. It really was a great deal, and came with everything you need - or don't even need. A pump, a paddle, a leash, a third fin (it has two permanently attached fins, and one that you can attach), a repair/patch kit, a backpack that it all fits in, and a really nice inflatable board! I tried one out, yesterday. Love it!! Inflating was a bit more challenging than I'd hoped. But not terrible. Luckily, we did this at home, and did not wait to inflate by the side of the lake. It took close to 20 minutes. One reason was that the pump hose, which you screws onto the part that you attach to the valve, kept trying to come undone, even though I really thought I'd had it securely screwed tight. Oh well, no big. They say pump to 12-15psi. By 13, it was really hard to pump, so I called it good at that. It seemed just right. Then I made a guess as to how long to adjust the paddle. Once I was on the water, I made a mini adjustment. There are a lot of answers to "how long should the paddle be". You need to play with that. Anyway, the board was awesome on the water! Very stable, comfortable, and all-around good. I sat, kneeled, and stood. It was a pretty windy day on the lake, and I sometimes had trouble manuevering, while standing. When that happened, I got on my knees. When I felt like taking a little break, I'd sit. Only once did I almost fall off, and that was at a particularly challenging and windy spot. My husband was in his kayak, paddling and fishing. (He caught a couple of fish - bonus!). But when we got back to the dock, he got on the board to try it out, since the other one is for him. He enjoyed it, as well. Just so you know, we are both 52 years old. I weigh 113lb, and he weighs about 160lb. I think the boards say they are for up to 275lb. We are not going to do anything crazy on our boards, just paddling around on mountain lakes. We are very pleased with our purchase, and highly recommend. ... show more

Purchased this for my children coming to visit me on Lake Joy in WA and they loved it very much!! Husband, wife and 6yr old all on it comfortably cruising all around the lake. The only issue was one of the fins fell out or something. They said they secured it perfectly but it disappeared some how. I would like to order a fin to replace it please. Great product and image with the camo green pattern. Love the purchase and will be getting another one soon :-) ... show more

I have been paddling for less than a year now in Ala Moana beach park Hawaii. I have tried and used a carbon fiber paddle board and this inflatable paddle board. So i will be comparing the two. And i can say that the GILI paddle board is stable enough to support 2 persons (One seated, it makes it harder and heavier but with my 10 foot carbon fiber it was very unstable and not practical to cruise with 2 people. GILI was stable enough to safely hold 2 persons about 160 and 120 lbs each. Yiu can feel the give as itnis inflatable but barelt noticeable. This paddle board feels like a truck in the water and the carbon fiber feels like hot knife slicing through butter. It feels faster and more agile. I got this for ease of transport as it is not safe to haul your paddle board all day while at work. As it will be stolen. In your car. I want a board i can leave in my car and hit the beach directly after work. Inflating it is a good 10 minutes and a whole body workout. Deflating takes about the same time. The paddle itself is heavy compared to my carbon fiber paddle but it gets the job done. Overall, if you like versatility, ease in transport, overall fun and exercise board, i will recommend GILI. If you want something "fixed", fast in the water and able to slice throught the waves much easier then invest on a solid board. as a beginner this board is fun to start with and it will give you a sense of what type of board you want to progress to. Or even make this your primary board. All in all. I recommend this board. 🤙🏼 ... show more
