After reading reviews on many brands, I chose the Gildan brand. I've worn woven boxers for almost 30 years. My favorite brands have been Izod, Tommy Hilfiger, US Polo, Nautica, and Ralph Lauren Polo. So, I know a good pair of boxers. It seems many have done away with the button fly, which is what I always looked for. Izod still has it, but their quality in material has gone down, and their prices have gone up. I honestly never use the fly for it's purpose, so my wife sews them shut, so I don't have to deal with a gap. That being said, I really like the Gildan brand. This is the first time trying them. The quality, and the color schemes are nice. The length is perfect, and they don't have the horrible saggy bottom that some boxers have. They're not extremely nice like Ralph Lauren, but for the price they're way above par. I also like that they have a normal waistband, and not a briefs type waistband. It just makes them look classier, and it's more comfortable. Some reviews had complaints on the wrong sizes being in the package, it the wrong colors, but mine came as advertised. Overall, I am definitely pleased with this purchase. I would definitely recommend. I'll update if any discrepancies along the way.

I like these here britches, they are nice and soft and hold up real good like. I likes the fact they don’t bunch up in my butt crack when I’m all hot and sweaty. They alsos wash out real good and don’t get all wrinkly. They last a good long while too, which is nicet cause I shouldn’t be having to buy britches all the time. Comes in a pack with four buddies, they all different colors and I likes that too, gives me choices. I really thinks you should try these britches, I thinks you’ll really like ‘em too.

Update - liked these so much I bought another pack in a different color. ----------------- I've switched to wearing boxers most of the time for all the reasons noted by so many other reviewers of underwear (temperature, health of the twig and berries, loose fit for comfort, etc) and decided to try several brands. Many of the descriptions don't have enough detail about where the seam/s are in the rear, what the inseam measurement is, what the material of the inside waistband is, etc. I purchased Gildan (these), George (Walmart), and Knocker (I have their boxer briefs) - all in 'Large'. i'm 6' 185 with a 33 inch waist, but Mediums are too tight (especially after a few washes) since I occasionally have spinal disc issues that cause spasms and are aggravated by pressure around the waist in the back (I read that many guys with similar injuries discovered tighter waistbands were causing them excessive pain/discomfort also). *George - quality material, two seams in back on cheeks, nice waistband, very wide/roomy legs (almost too much flare) *Knocker - quality material, two seams in back but far apart, button on fly, tighter waistband than others (felt like Mediums) *Gildan - quality material, one seam in back center, nice finished waistband, roomy legs but not too much flare) I've had FOTL and Hanes in boxers before, wasn't all that impressed but maybe they've improved over the years. These GILDAN boxers are terrific! The seam in the back center isn't uncomfortable for me like some others have noted, and it gives them a nice shape if you've got an athletic build - or a 'non empty trunk'. The waistband label looks ironed on and has no edges or sewn areas to irritate your skin. Although there's no button on the fly, it appears the length and seaming of it prevents most unwanted "peek a boos". They seem starched when new, but I bet after laundering they'll soften up nicely - I just won't dry them on the warm setting for longer than 4 minutes before hanging them up to air dry. If there are big changes (plus or minus) I'll return to give an update. These are made in India - and I'd much rather contribute to their economy than China's wherever possible and practical. ** I highly recommend them if all the features match what you're looking for in boxers. **

I have reached the age where i like elastic waists. It’s very hard or very expensive to find comfortable shorts in the women’s section. My daughter got tired of me wearing my plaid boxer shorts. I found these. They fit about mid thigh so don’t look sleezy. It’s also not evident that you’re wearing boxers. Fabric is thick enough to look like actual shorts. But they are not hot. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these boxers. The material thickness is just right, not too thick or thin. Only wish is if there were a few more pattern choices. We liked them so much, we bought a second set.
