The shirts are pretty thick so you can wear them by themselves but they work well as undershirts too. They are comfortable on the skin and are good at absorbing sweat. Mine came with one of them having a hole under the armpit so I cannot give them 5 starts but other than that, if you need some work t-shirts, gym clothes, or just some overall t-shirts for normal occasions these are great value for the money. ... show more

I'm a big fan of Gildan shirts however these shirts are not heavy duty. I am a Welder and fabricator and like heavy duty shirts because they last in my line of work such as Carhartt. I decided to give these a try, they are comfortable but are way too thin to be considered heavy duty. These are however good for everyday wear. My search continues for a heavy duty comfortable shirt that doesn't break the bank. Also the size seems to run a little small. I ordered 2xl but it fits more like a 1xl in length.
