I think this spray is good for what I need it for. First, I do not think this spray is for waxing. What I do think is that since it has Lidocaine in it which you really need a prescription for, that the only way to sell over the counter is to say that it numbs for Waxing. So they can sell it. Notice no other manufacturer sells this. Anyway, It does work for me. I am recovering from a spine operation and cannot walk good because of pain. I have my husband spray it on where the rods are on my back, then all over my back and it takes the pain away for most of the day. Then late afternoon I might spray more. So, It does work for me. Its works to numb the area applied to, however, takes a lil bit to take affect, and isn't all that strong once it does. But sufficient enough to dampen any pain.

Package came with a sticker on top with a different date than what was printed on the bottle. According to customer service, it’s only good for 2 years from date of manufacture. Not sure why there’s an additional sticker for an additional 3 years and 5 months on it for expiration. Never got an explanation for it. Probably won’t repurchase since I don’t feel I can trust this product/brand after this experience ... show more

***If you’re specifically looking to purchase this product for your bikini wax, read this review*** The product is okay. I want to make it clear that this did not stop any pain from getting waxed, HOWEVER, it helped with enduring the pain. Please do not expect for this product to completely numb your pubic area for a waxing, because it will not. I still felt everything, but it was not as bad as it usually is. I also tend to take Advil an hour before getting my waxes, so that could have also helped with that as well! This doesn't work well at all. I applied it to my underarms before waxing and I don't feel that it numbed the area. So, calling it a "numbing spray" is a flat out lie. Secondly, I also don't feel that it really lessoned the discomfort of waxing for me. It seemed to feel about the same as it always does when I wax. I will definitely not be buying this spray again. I will be looking for another brand of numbing spray for waxing. I have to say, this made me quite disappointed in GiGi. I have loved their other products that I have tried, so I was expecting quality from them and I got crap. ... show more
