This works well. I was looking for an organizer that keeps markers upright because we just got these dot markers and the instructions say they must remain upright. In addition, my son makes a bit of a mess when it comes to sorting through colors. He likes to spread them all over the table so I'm hoping this will help keep things tidy while also letting him sort thru it all. Love this pencil holder. It has a large capacity, and hold alot of school supplies. Each individual slot can be take out and it has 6 compartments. Now my kids' desks are more organized with this. This is actually going to be a very functional desk top or work space item. If I can just decide where to put it… On my art table with my art supplies or on my desk with my favorite pens, pencils and markers etc. There are five sections and each section is removable. I can see arranging markers by color or paintbrushes by size. I suppose it would work for some baking/cooking utensils or tools or even for some tools on a work bench. The whole unit turns smoothly and it seems we’ll made overall. It feels sturdy and isn’t likely to tip or spill when filled with your favorite junk.
