  • Great formula
My baby struggles with regular bowel movements since switching to formula at a month old, he was on enfamil neuropro, he would go 4-5 days and then have the smallest amount and would start refusing his bottles.. my mommy heart said to try this formula and so glad I did, he's been on it for 3 days and has had a bowel movement each day and is actually wanting to drink more!! He loves it.. thank you gerber for such a great formula.. ... show more

  • Very good!
My son has had a cows milk protein sensitivity since birth and we always use Similac Soy Isomil. During these weird times, we still can’t always find it, so I have tried Gerber and it’s incredibly similar I would say. He loves it and will drink it with no hesitation. I’ve also bought the Target Up&Up brand soy formula (because it’s a huge can) but it leaves such a weird, oily residue in his bottles and smells almost rancid each time. Definitely love Gerber and Similac for him. ... show more

  • Loved this formula
We loved this formula it made my son pretty happy but caused some mild constipation. Our doc took us off spot for potentially allergies but if you use soy I’d recommend this

  • Great partner for breastfeeding
We normally choose Neocate, but due to supply issues, we can’t get a single can. In a panic, I spent hours looking up formulas. We need one that doesn’t have ANY cow milk proteins. Not even the hydrolyzed ones! My daughter is so sensitive to CMPs that I can’t even have a tablespoon of butter in my diet, while breastfeeding. She gets about 3-6 ounces of formula a day for when we are out and about during afternoon feeding time and then the rest is breast milk. Anyways, formula reaction: she smells a bit stinkier than when she got neocate, but not by much. Her poops are messier and not “seedy” like when only breastfeeding or combined with neocate. It’s like mango purée now. She doesn’t cry about gas or poops anymore than she did before. She does need burped VERY WELL now because this stuff makes a lot of bubbles (Phillips avent, switching to Dr Brown). I think she doesn’t prefer the taste, which is good because it makes her more dedicated to latching than just reliant on bottle HOWEVER it doesn’t deter her from eating. She just takes it slowly instead of chugging. I started her off with 1 ounce for a few days then upped it to 2 ounces, now 4 ounces. She was only getting it in the morning to start so I could get a sense of how it digests. After a week, she can get it in the evening or whenever! She’s tolerating it quite well so far! Fingers crossed! As she grows, I feel comfortable letting her have this one bottle per day...ideally she won’t need it for longer than a few months, but since she’s tolerating it well, it’s okay if she does! We’ve since bought a back up container...just in case this disappears like neocate! We would recommend this to anyone whose baby is colicky or having issues with dairy. Cow milk is the worst. Soy is helping us out tremendously! And price is a bit irrelevant when it comes to babies. We were spending $50/can on neocate so this is a great deal! ... show more

  • Well Priced Non-Dairy, Soy Based Protein.
Our baby gets breast milk AND formula. When my wife, the mom, has no milk or bottled breast milk, we use formula. We used and tried a lot of Dairy-based formulas, from what KP uses (Similac) to Enfamil Gentlelease. Our baby just hated it, as in our baby "talks"/cries to us while at the same time drinking the formula. Spits up, gassy/hard tummy, constipation, cries randomly for hours (Colic). So after two months, we moved to a Plant-based formula, and we also mentioned both to our PeDIA and the lactation nurse, and both approved the Gerber "Soy" brand. I found this product on Amazon to be "well" priced. It's only been a month, but our baby has little "happy" spits up after drinking, no constipation, and less crying. ... show more
