My son is 5 months and too big for 3mths and too small for 6mths clothing. The 3/6mth size of this item fits comfortably enough that he can wiggle around and not pull tight the neck or feet. The material is thin, so in winter, putting the snowsuit on won't be too bulky. Great for spring, summer, fall outdoors. The print and colors are great quality. These sleep 'n plays are a great value for the price. I appreciate that they have zippers instead of buttons, which makes nighttime diaper changes so much easier. The fabric feels soft, the designs are adorable, and they seem to keep our baby warm and comfortable during cooler nights. However, the sizing can be a bit misleading. We ordered the 6–9 month size for our four-month-old, who is around the 50th percentile for size, and they already fit snugly. I don’t see them lasting much longer than another month or two, so keep that in mind when choosing sizes.
