My husband is a pastor and we live in an area of the country that has a definitely western life-style: cattle ranches, rodeos, and western-wear. It is not at all unusual for our church members to show up in western shirts, cowboy boots and hats, and yes, bolo ties. He has a collection of bolos as well as standard neckties, but apparently one cannot have too many? We added this attractive bolo to his collection for when he’s dressed up for church. This bolo tie arrived in pristine condition, thoughtfully packaged, and its design is undeniably striking. The craftsmanship is evident, with intricate details that elevate any outfit. However, the finish is a touch shinier than I prefer, catching the light more than expected. Additionally, the length seems best suited for those with a 16-inch neck or smaller, which may limit its fit for some. While not perfect for my taste, its beauty and quality make it a strong choice. Got this bolo tie for a themed event and it ended up being way nicer than expected. The detailing on the prayer design looks clean and well-made, and the leather cord feels durable. It adds a cool western touch without being too flashy. Great pick for both casual and formal western-style outfits.

This bolo tie is quite lovely, seems to be made out of good material, and best of all, it's not too short!!! Many bolo ties, bought on-line, turn out to be more kids' sized, and definitely not good for my husband's large (18-1/2") neck. Few things look worse than a too-short bolo tie, and this one is perfect. We chose the steer-design because at a distance the gold-on-silver coloring might make the design disappear, and the steer head with horns shows up really well.

The braided cord is kind of stiff, and was of course kind of looped around in the package, so it is not wanting to lay nicely straight or feel soft. I hope that hanging it from a hook for awhile will cause it to straighten out better. I think the whole thing looked a bit nicer in the pictures. The tie cord is sort of an odd color, so doesn't look like natural leather. I feel that this is even more evident now that I see it for real up close. It is ok, but not great.

The GelConnie Brown Leather Bolo Tie features a Cowboy Image Done in Silver & Gold Tints that closely matches the Original Design on my Vintage Bolo. I really like the overall size & weight of the GelConnie Leather Brown Bolo Tie, it Wears Well and looks Great.
