GDM Dual Sport motorcycle helmet is DOT FMVSS-218 certified. Its shell is constructed using an advanced lightweight composite poly-alloy. It features five points of ventilation with removable and washable liner and cheek pads and features Removable Visor and Shield. It also includes a double D-ring chin strap and comes with two visors in the box. Suitable for Dual Sport Motorcycles, Motocross, ATV, UTV, Dirt Bike, Scooter, Snowmobile, Personal Watercraft and more. Please refer to the following size guide to determine your correct size. (Matte Black, Tinted & Clear Shields, XX-Large) so i recieved my helmet the other day. My 24in head fit in the xx helmet very snug with a fleece balaclava for winter rides. so lets get to the d rings. d rings are stamped metal and they are not finished and smooth. the ones on this helmet would cut your finger if i wasnt careful. being a diy' er i took my dremel and some sand paper to the sharp edges to keep the straps from fraying (and most important) from cutting the strap on high impact. This important finishing step for the d rings should not have been skipped. less the d rings thing ,this under a hundred dollar helmet suits my needs and i am very happy with my purchase so far. (one star off for rings) ... show more

As far as the overall looks and design of the helmet I for one would be hard pressed to find one anywhere at any price I liked better. For openers it’s not a gigantic mushroom on your head. It’s sleek, the visors are great and it fits snug. The reason for 4 stars however is it seems to me to be poorly ventilated but maybe it’s not much different than most. The only thing is I don’t see how it could be any less hot because the vents in front are minuscule when all is considered. Aside from that it’s made well and I’ve taken it apart and it goes back together fine. The only other criticism would be the chin strap which didn’t work for me. It worked but I didn’t like it so I modified it. Other than that it’s a great helmet. Edit* I changed to 5 Stars because the helmet has held up well after a year and after contacting the seller they took care of my broken visor attachments. Good customer service. ... show more

I typically wear 7 1/4 in Hat and I used that too order this lid, pretty tight (Mostly around the jaw area) so im gonna send it to my kid and order a large for myself. 2 lenses, good air flo cant beat the price.

Good helmet for the most part, my bike has short swept pipes, the helmet drowns the noise a good bit and still am able to hear vehicles on my side, haven't installed the tinted visor yet.. the clear one is decent., Little fog on cold rides.. however.. not the most aerodynamic helmet.. @70-90 wind drafts will catch it.. just got home from an hr. Ride home from work tonight.. I feel I should have bought a medium instead of large when it came to this helmet.. top of the head fits well, kind of loose on the cheeks and chin being that I am an average guy of 6'2 170lbs.. go with a medium on this if youre not fat faced.. ... show more

I like that it is very light weight when I ride my dirt bike it is not a heavy helmet to have on top of your head and you can breathe very well through the vents and the visors are great because they give you 3 instead of just one.
