They say you get what you pay for, but in this case, I got exactly what I was looking for - an inexpensive slip-on that I could wear in and out of the house. At first, I was surprised by the ultra-light weight, and concerned if they would hold up, but they so far proven to be resilient. They're sturdy enough to wear for light yard work, shopping, or lounging in. They were very comfortable and required no break-in at all. I did order a half-size larger than I normally would and at first I thought that might be a mistake, but now I'm glad that I did - makes slipping them on and off easier, and I don't notice any heel creep. Color isn't a deep black at all - in fact, it is almost more of a blue/ grey which is fine - more like denim. Great summer shoe! ... show more

These are great, but set expectations. Tan is pictured. The shoes are inexpensive, very comfortable, canvas shoes. Are they comparable to the big name popularizing them right now? HEY man, or dude, you've likely heard of them if you're here. Build quality is maybe 85%-90% there, style and selection, not even close. Expectations. I would consider these a small step above socks. Maybe slipper'ish. Going hiking, for a run, long walks? Probably not the right shoe. Plus, they'll wear out quickly. Around the house, know you'll be sitting a lot at work, just hanging at a friend's? You'll probably really enjoy them. Fit was exactly as expected based on my normal size. They are one of the few with 1/2 sizes too. Overall, 4/5. They definitely aren't made to last like a real shoe, but are very comfortable. They are half the price of other brands too.
