I weigh 148 and was looking for panties that went up over my belly which these did. I should have gotten a medium BUT it doesn't matter because most of these started to fall apart on the 1st wash. I love everything about the thongs. The only thing I didn't like was that when I received the package all the thongs where opened and all over the place... I was a bit thrown back because of that. It looks like they were just thrown into the bag and shipped. Thats the only reason why I wouldn't give them 5 stars. Aside from that they are so soft, very sexy and comfortable. I hoped these would fit and feel similar to the Hanky Panky brand Retro Lace Thongs. Those cost $25 a pair compared to $30 for 6 pairs of these. But there is no comparison. These leave gaps on the sides of my tummy area uncovered. They don't provide the front coverage I want. The thong portion is too long but a smaller size will not fit. The material is ok but not great. If you want something sexy and extremely comfortable that will cover in the front and reveal in the back, buy the more expensive brand. The wide waistband is super flattering and the fit on these is great. However, as another reviewer pointed out, these aren't likely to last very long; the lace and stitching aren't super high quality and look like they would easily snag. I hung these up to dry so they wouldn't get destroyed in the dryer. For the price, though, I like them.
