This thing does work. The way our patio set is underneath there is no way to prevent water from looking up when it rains. We just had a downpour, and I had to remove a chair to drain the huge pool of water in the center. However, my patio furniture stayed dry. I will gladly do the work of dumping the middle pool when it rains to protect the expensive patio furniture for a longer life. It also protects leaves and debris from trees gathering on it. Plus there have been times where we went out a day later and the furniture was still wet to sit on. This prevents that. I say it is a great cheap purchase to help prolong your patio furniture life and rain proof, but the inevitable pooling after it rains will likely occur ... show more

This is a great outdoor cover if it is available in your desirable size. It's heavy duty and well made, however I did have to return it because it was too small, and was no available in the size I needed.

I ordered this cover last year and was surprised by the quality for the price, it was VERY heavy and extremely water resistant. After months out in the Florida sun it faded but I was able to turn it inside out and get a full year before it ripped. I reordered it and what arrived was a VERY thin version of the first one I ordered. Very disappointed in the quality and assume it will not keep out the rain, so I ended up keeping the old one underneath and hoping that works but I will not reorder again. ... show more

I got this a couple months ago and wanted to wait a bit before posting a review. Now that my table and table cover have seen a fair amount of rain and storms I can say this: absolutely get it because it's wonderful. This is the first table cover I've had that didn't get soaking wet and leaky during a rain. it's definitely water proof to the point that when water falls on it, it beads up and slides around. I also love the vents on the side because I've had covers that didn't have that and it creates a humid atmosphere underneath (which, in TX is an issue). It's also extremely light-weight, which is a plus because I've had heavy covers in the past that are a pain to deal with. I also see a lot of wind in my area (40 - 55mph easily) and this cover hasn't gone anywhere all throughout. My ONLY issue is that they don't make covers for chairs/sofas that are the size of mine. ... show more
