Buying any product for the first time on line is always a gamble. Never buying a portable garage before needless to say started off as a challenge. But, we finally decided to select Gardesol Carport. My hats off to the ENGINEERS....putting this thing up was super easy...this old man and woman (well retired) had it up in no time. Because I was going to leave it up for an extended period of time, I secured it to a framework of 2x6x8 pressure treated lumber....IT DOES NOT MOVE NOW....after having it for just over a year and half, I noticed the roof had begin to deteriorate due to the sun....trust me, living in Arizona for twenty years you soon learn how wicked the sun can be..... I don't care what you have, what it is made of the sun can destroy it...but because we all want to stay warm we live with the results of the sun.....the top on our Carport began to show signs of sun damage....once the material broke through and there was a hole, I decided to call Gardesol and buy a replacement, (99.00)...to my surprise it was under warranty and replaced for free, quickly and with not one ounce of grief......NOW THAT'S SERVICE....I would strongly recommend Gardesol Carport if you are looking for a good product and GREAT SERVICE......once you find it on line, look no further, hit the "buy now" button and you will be a happy camper.... This was the second purchase! I purchase one of these a couple years ago and thats about as long as the tent material lasted in the hot Florida sun, as to be expected here. The first purchase stood up to the elements well through high winds ans heavy rain until the sun ultimately took it apart. My second purchase on the other hand was like a scam! It arrive like the first one did in a large heavy box. I emediately noticed it was not the same item as my first purchase ir as described in the listed description. The poles were much smaller, the tent dimensions were not even the same, slightly smaller by inches. This caused me to redo the base I had but for the first purchase. The tent material is thinner than the original and the tent connections are lesser quality as well. As the package was much too large for me to try to return to any delivery service I went ahead and installed it after reconfiguring the original base I had in place. The installation was the same, just smaller. I have had this up since March of 2025, it is now July of 2025 and yhe tent material is already deteriorating. The material is already letting light through the material and the seams are ripping and I don't expect it to last the rest of the summer. The poles are much smaller diameter than the listed statement and much smaller diameter than my first purchase and are starting to bend on the entry legs. I had tried to reuse the poles from the first purchase but like I said, the second purchase tent material was smaller and did nit fit the first frame in any way. Buyer beware of purchasing from this manufacturer as you may get stuck with a very poor quality product that only lasts a few months at best. Very very poor build quality!

It arrived quickly. No tools required for set up. Parts clearly labeled. 2-3 people suggested for set up, but I did it alone. I’m 74 and the temp was in the 20’s. Admittedly that made it take a bit longer to complete the set up. Everything fit perfectly, except the velcro in the corners were a little challenging to line up. Eventually I got there. The instructions say that you might want to attach the ends at the same time you do the roof. I highly recommend that. Additionally, I suggest you put on the little feet earlier, rather than waiting until the whole structure is up. It seems sturdy. It has to be anchored, otherwise it will move in a strong wind. The cord they supply for the tie downs may not be sufficient, but you can use your own rope. One cool thing is that they actually give you two pair of gloves to use during the set up. I had to use my own wooden stakes because the ground is frozen and the supplied stakes wouldn’t go in. But that’s no big deal. When the ground thaws, maybe I’ll use the stakes that were supplied.

I got this a little over a year ago to keep lumber dry. It was pretty easy to put up with my brother's help. Overall, very satisfied with the quality of the carport - it held up to some torrential downpours and windstorms over the past year. However, after the last windy day we had (Washington, DC area) I woke to find the roof in tatters, similar to another reviewer. I was honestly amazed at the extent of the damage - it looked like it had been through a lawnmower. The framework and most of the walls were unscathed. I reached out to Customer Service and Ginni was quick to reply. Despite being slightly beyond the warranty period, she offered to send out a replacement roof panel. Customer service like this is comforting! Anyone out there on the fence about purchasing this (I know, it's a bit of an investment) - rest assured that there are real people working behind the scenes that really seem to value their reputation.

Very nice carport, easy to assemble. We purchased two...one for home and one for our place up north. We live in southeastern WI and can get all 4 seasons in a week here. We had some 30mph winds recently, and the stakes ripped out of the ground, one of the ropes that attaches to an anchor ripped off the carport, and the whole thing shifted 4-5 feet. My thoughts with the construction is that the two end "wall" pieces velcro to the side "wall" pieces. There should really be a zipper there instead of the velcro. The velcro doesn't stay fastened well with higher winds. That being said, we would purchase this again. The customer service with this company is like nothing I've ever experienced before. Hands down, best customer service I have EVER received. If somethings wrong, they WILL do whatever to make it right. Overall, we are extremely happy with our purchases and would refer to others and purchase from this company again. They're amazing 👏
