I was wondering why the model in the first photo was posed so unnaturally. Now I know. She's standing like that because It's the only way to make this top look good. I am not a small person, but the shirt was so boxy I thought it would swallow me whole. I was expecting something fitted, with a bit of a boho/vintage look. Instead, I had a red velvet tent which hung off the end of my bust, obscured my waist, and ended at the widest part of my hips. If you have any curves at all, give this garment a pass. Returned.

I like this shirt. I am self conscious about my arms and the sleeves seem to ride up with the elastic but I get a ton of compliments when I wear it and it's soft and comfortable.

One of the things I like is the fact that it has a V-Neck (I don't like things to fit too close to the neck at all), and it is of a sufficient weight of fabric to be appropriate for Fall wear. HOWEVER .. the fact remains, this shirt is TOO SHORT in the length for anyONE at all that is of average or taller than average female sizes. It is embarassing the way it rides up (and shows 'skin' when one has to change positions (like for example, bend down, or twist to reach something) and that's NOT What I want to happen at all (especially when one is a tad 'mature' in years). I can't wear this as someone that is TALLER than average at all in any situation while out of the house (and will continue to wear what I have instead). Luckily for me, I do know family members who are petite in height, and this will appropriately fit their body frames. Just wish that Gap would admit they fit their shirts to PETITE height female bodies only (it is what it is). It is definitely TOO SMALL For a taller than average or average height female.
