The fit of this GAP Women's Long Sleeve Essential Ribbed Top is amazing. For reference, I'm 5' 7.5", 36B, with a 33" waist, and I love how the size medium fits. The large would've been too loose in the chest area, so it would be too "bunched up" by the armpits. The medium is just right; not tight or loose. The way this top feels is like it's been crafted from the highest-quality, lightweight cotton blend, because it's so soft, breathable and EXTREMELY comfortable. It also has some stretch and somehow, I think this is what makes it flattering. The length of the top and the sleeve length are perfect. The solid color crew neck provides a contrasting element that balances the stripes. This style is cohesively versatile as it complements jeans, chinos, skirts, denim jackets, solid color vests and cardigans, sneakers, flats, and a plethora of other apparel for a sleek, casual look in a variety of settings in autumn. The value is incredible for this durably made top. It was even washed and hung to dry without losing its shape or color, so it's going to last quite a while. I like this shirt. It's a simple style, striped, ribbed long sleeve shirt. The stripes are slimming and flattering. It is fitted and stretchy, but not too thin and unforgiving of fat rolls like some shirts can be. I am 5'7", 145 lbs and went with a medium, and the size was perfect. The colors are lovely. It's a bit expensive, but about what you'd expect for a name brand item. Recommend.

The shirt arrived as described on the website, but I was rather disappointed when I actually felt the material. The material is 100% cotton , but is rather thin so even though sleeves are long, you would have to wear a jacket if you live in a cold climate. It is machine washable, however I would be concerned about the durability and possible stretching given the material is so thin. The sizing chart is accurate and overall a nice design. Even though this is a gap brand name shirt, I feel it is overpriced given the quality.

Ten stars! Wasn’t sure what to expect, ordering clothing online is always a gamble. The shirt has the perfect fit - I love how long the sleeves are, the fabric is nice quality and not too thick or thin. It’s stretchy and comfortable. Washed it once already (before wearing) and it did great. Nothing lasts forever, but this is a quality piece of clothing that’ll be a favorite for a good while.

Oh my gosh this is totally my favorite long sleeve shirt of fall! Nice and thin so I don’t heat up but enough coverage to keep the chill at bay. Perfect! It looks so cute too. I have a pair of clam digger jeans that I paired this with, and some blue canvas tennis shoes, and it looks like an instant classic casual look I always try to achieve and finally have thanks to this shirt. Love the pink color too, though there’s a few more colors I’d like to get my hands on too. For reference I’m 5’8 198lbs and the XL fits perfectly. Also, I read another review about arm length and I must say for me I was just so excited because I finally have a shirt that fits my arms well, but I’m tall with long arms so maybe I would think that, and if you have shorter arms you won’t, but for me it really is the most ideal shirt I could imagine. I’ve been trying not to wear it every day but am highly tempted.

It's a beautiful ribbed long sleeve top that pretty much goes with everything. I love it personally under my oversized overalls. I like the colors and stripes that are not overwhelming and the ribbing material is super soft and comfy.... HOWEVER.... It's an expensive top to have such an off fit. Gap always runs small and I do like this top to be against my skin. There are 2 problems I received with the fit of this shirt. Number 1 is I received an XL when I ordered a XXL. I wanted the XXL so it would look closer to the model in the length front and back and have some looseness in it especially around the bust for which I wear a 38FF bra and I like my tops to not pull up around my bust bust lay flat. Knowing that Gap runs small, I ordered the largest size possible in hopes it would fit like a Medium / Large in a ribbed stretch shirt (Medium / Large is what I typically buy in this style of a shirt). Unfortunately it fits me like a smaller medium and so it is crops up in the front and pulls up and it feels uncomfortable with my mid-drift exposed 😕. I don't like the fit at all. Like I said though, under my overalls it's super cute but I don't like my overalls rubbing against my bear skin so now I have to layer with a tank in order to wear this top under them. Would I buy it? No I would return it if I could. I don't like the fit at all and it's just off enough to pull up, I feel like if I received what I originally ordered it would probably have fit as I expected. I would have given it 4 stars for the quality and I know that less bustier women would like it BUT you sent me the wrong size and that's an issue on it's own. Note: This is not a free review. I live in the US where I am required to pay an income tax on items I review on Vine. The taxes are significantly more than sales taxes. I can pay more then the listing price sometimes for items I review on Vine because it's based on a market value at the time and not the actual list price. So essentially I am paying to review this item so making sure my order is correct when I order it is extremely important. I am now stuck with an item that doesn't really fit me because I was sent the wrong size. Very disappointed.

Super excited to actually wear this out and about. Really comfy fitted long sleeve, a nice length just at the hips. The material is a nice cotton (blend?) ribbed knit that isn’t too thick but still feels sturdy. Colors are rich and vibrant. Haven’t washed yet, but like the rest of my GAP basics, I believe it will hold up for a long time to come.
