Real, great denim! These were much nicer than I expected. They feel really great and durable. The fit seems standard for the size and although I was anticipating them more for a girl, they'd definitely work well for either gender (the blue denim version). Love the material!

We are preparing for the birth of our second child and so I've been working to add a few new items to our baby's closet. When I saw these overall I got really excited. We are waiting to find out if we are having a boy or a girl and I love that these overalls would work great for either one! Usually I am not a fan of dressing babies in denim as the material is typically stiff and restrictive on their little bodies; however, this denim is really soft and has some give to it. These overalls don't feel restrictive in any way. The material feels like a nice, broken-in denim. Gap is known for their attention to detail in their clothing, and that is evident with the little embroidered teddy bear on the front pocket and the "My First Denim" patch sewn onto the inside of the overalls. I love these details as they give the garment an heirloom-like feel. The overalls have several nice features including buttons on the sides (see third photo, they are a little hard to undo), elastic in the back, criss-cross straps in the back to help keep the overalls from sliding off, and really nice and concealed snaps on the inner legs to help with easy dressing and diaper changes. I love that these overalls can be used for warm summer months or can be layered for cooler winter months. These are just the sweetest little overalls. The denim is soft and well made. They are not stiff like you might expect on something this small and the construction feels solid. They fit true to size (3-6 months) and the snaps worked perfectly, which matters a lot when you are trying to change a wriggly infant quickly. They held up in the wash and didn't shrink. I bought these GAP denim overalls for my son and they are a great classic look. I got the 18-24 month size and they fit true to size. The denim is thick but soft enough that it doesn't restrict him when he’s playing, but it still feels durable. The medium wash is nice and goes with everything. I really like the adjustable straps because it means he can wear them a bit longer as he grows. They’ve held up well in the wash and haven't shrunk or lost their shape. I couldn’t be happier with these little denim overalls for my grandson—they are absolutely adorable and such great quality. The fit is spot on for his age, with just the right amount of room for comfort without looking baggy. He can move around easily in them, whether he’s crawling, playing, or being carried, which is so important at this stage. The denim itself is really nice—soft enough that it doesn’t feel stiff or uncomfortable, but still durable enough to handle all the wear and tear that comes with an active little one. I also love how well they’ve held up after multiple washes; the color stays looking great and they haven’t lost their shape at all.
