UPDATE: I didn't like this pair and returned them. The waist was tight and legs too loose for my taste. However, I went to a GAP store and tried on slims and they fit very well. From my guess, I think they changed the fit on the slims and straight leg jeans. it seems like the slims fit very much like the straight legs used to. So, you may like these, but in my opinion the sizing has changed. I've never had a pair of GAP jeans that were loose in the legs but too tight in the waist. I have a fairly slim build. Seat ripped wide open after only a few wears and washes. Amazon would not refund our purchase because we were just past 30 days since the purchase although we were traveling at the time. What we thought was just a nice pre- washed fabric turned out to be total junk. Very disappointed in Gap as have always thought their jeans were a good quality and VERY pissed at Amazon for their lousy customer service. It used to be good but probably just chatting with a stupid AI ROBOT NOW as they never did follow up with the manufacturer info in email as they said they would.
