Nice and soft and comfy, with the perfect length just above the knees. I have 2 little nits. I would prefer the waistband to be tighter (size small on my 30” waist) because I hate when you load up your pockets with phones, wallet, keys, flashlight, pocketknife, glasses case, change, candy, paperback, lotion, hand sanitizer, pepper spray, etc., and the weight causes the waistband to gradually slide down your waist and hips (unless you like showing off the top of your boxers). Also, the cargo pockets only have a single button on the front corner. The back corner is sewed shut. Most of the time this is no problem, but if you had a large inflexible rectangular object that should fit perfectly in that pocket, you might not be able to put it in or take it out because you can’t open the flap up all the way. ... show more

Really nice, soft, thick fabric. Fits a little big, but ought to wash up nicely. The cargo pockets have a cool snap closure on one side. My hubby is happy and they look great on him.
