The media could not be loaded. I’ve been wearing this NBA x Gap collab hoodie for a bit now, and it’s a remarkably solid piece of officially licensed apparel. Usually, sports fan gear comes with a massive premium and corners cut on quality, but that isn't the case here. Design & Aesthetics The standout feature is absolutely the vintage look. The faded color wash gives it a worn-in, retro vibe that really sets it apart from standard, glossy team apparel. The team logo on the front is made of a delightfully soft material, and the text is fully stitched rather than screen-printed, which adds a premium feel. They even matched the Gap logo on the sleeve to the team colors—a really nice, subtle touch. Material & Build Quality The inside is lined with French terry. It feels great against the skin and is sure to hold up very well to repeated washing and wearing over time without pilling heavily. It has a good weight to it that indicates solid craftsmanship, though personally, I do wish the material was just a little bit thicker. It’s best described as a solid, average-thickness hoodie. Fit & Sizing Take note that these use unisex sizing and are intentionally designed to have a trendy, oversized fit. - For the trendy, fully oversized look: Order your normal size. - For a standard fit with baggy proportions: I highly recommend sizing down one size. I went down one size myself, and it gave me the exact relaxed-but-standard silhouette. Value At its current price on Amazon, it’s a great value and significantly cheaper than its historical MSRP. However, these prices tend to fluctuate. If you are patient and check the listing repeatedly, you might be able to nab it at an even lower price.
