Well made classic shorts

This is a nice pair of shorts to go with a shirt or something more dressy. Not really an everyday playground pair, but when you want your kid dressed a little sharper, these are perfect. And of course they can be worn with a school uniform. Good thickness of material, soft and very well cut and sewn toghether. They seem true to size - my son is mainly in 3T/4T right now, and size 5 is a little large on him. Nice, understated, good quality shorts that can be paired with a lot of shirts for a very put together look.

Nice Shorts for Everyday Wear

These are nice quality shorts. I think the fit is true to size. I bought a size up for my son, so they are a bit big on him. The color looks accurate to the product photos. These hit my son right above the knees. The fabric is comfortable. They have belt loops, and even though they have a button, you can pull them on because of the elastic waist. The material makes them seem like they would dry quickly. I feel like they could be worn with a school uniform (at least they could at my older son's school). I look at reviews a lot while shopping. I hope this review helps!

Our favorite type of short

These are my son’s favorite type of shorts. He only ever wants to wear “comfy” clothes but will wear shorts like this when he needs to wear “nice” clothes since they are very lightweight and comfortable. These would be great in hot weather since they are breathable and so lightweight. They can feel cheap for how lightweight they are but these seem well made. I’d imagine they’d dry pretty quickly if they happened to get wet as well. They seem true to size but may be tight in the waist for their size, depending on the kid. One drawback is the lack of adjustable aspects to the shorts. They do have a decent elastic stretch in the waist but they may be too tight for larger kids and too baggy for smaller kids in the waist. They are a real button and real zipper. The zipper is a bit tight and could be difficult to zip. I think they’re a good value for being GAP.

Thin Material And Great for Summer

These Gap Hybrid Tech Shorts are a great option for active kids because they combine a clean, polished look with the comfort of athletic shorts. The fabric is lightweight, flexible, and comfortable enough for running around, but still looks nice enough to wear with a polo or button-down shirt. The pecan color is especially versatile and pairs well with almost anything. The material also feels durable and should hold up well for school, vacations, or everyday summer wear. The sizing was as expected when ordering the normal size, and the overall fit looks neat without being restrictive. These are practical, stylish shorts that can easily be dressed up or down. Liking these shorts a lot

Loving these. Might be my favorite of tech material available for uniform-friendly shorts. They’re lightweight but not flimsy. Substantial but not too thick, so I’m not concerned my kiddo will be sweating nonstop. A bit of a shorter leg, which makes them stylish, in my opinion. Fits true to size or maaaaaaybe skewing a hair small. There’s an elastic section at the back of the waistband, though, and I think that makes these pretty forgiving.

Excellent, Versatile Shorts for Boys

This review is for Gap Boys' Hybrid Tech Short. I ordered these shorts in size 10 in the Pecan color for my tall seven-year-old son. They fit him perfectly now, so if your child is in between sizes, I would size up. These are really nice shorts. They are lightweight and perfect for summer. There is one pocket on the back and two traditional side pockets. There are belt loops as well. I like how versatile this style is - it can easily go from a nice dinner to the playground.
