What a cute sweater! My daughter loves apples and thinks lady bugs are so cool. She was really excited when this arrived in the mail. It is super soft and stretchy. I ordered a 4T and she usually wears a 2T, but we like to up size so she can wear them for more than a couple months. This fits her oversized and seems to be TTS. Because of the stretch, it will likely fit after the 4T stage as well. It washes and dries well in the machine. We’ve had no issues with pulling or loose threads. The color is vibrant and true to the listing. The sweater is warm and cozy, but quite breathable. I’d say this is a high quality toddler’s sweater - much better than you’d typically expect for a toddler. Think of your favorite soft sweater, and shrink it down to toddler size. This is it. And with the GAP price tag (pricier than Old Navy, but not quite Hanna Andersson prices). I love this top and wish I had one in my size too! Typical GAP quality makes for a wonderful lightweight sweater with a sweet kitten knitted into the front. Bought for my granddaughter for when she gets older, we recently lost my daughter's beloved fluffy white cat. She had "Beau" since her childhood so losing him was tough, made harder by my getting this beautiful sweater. Perhaps when my granddaughter gets to an age where she can understand the loss of a precious pet my daughter will tell her about her sweet cat Beau and what he meant to all of us. The sweater is so pretty and just the right weight for layering and wearing inside during the holidays. Having it memorialize a precious pet is just an added plus. Priced at $35, it's a bargain for GAP quality.

First of all, this is a very soft and cozy material! The colors are nice and vibrant, and there’s a cute little ladybug on the leaf of the apple. The size 18-24 months is plenty big on my 16 month old with room to grow. I love the extra detail of the red stripe on the tips of the sleeves and bottom of the shirt. The one tiny issue that I have is a slight flaw in the hem of the neckline. When it was being sewn together, there is one tiny spot where the thread missed and this will lead to a small hole that I will need to sew up. Other than that, this is an adorable sweater for little girls that my daughter should be able to wear all winter.

Oh my gourd, this little GAP kitty sweater is paws-itively precious. I snagged it for my cousin’s daughter because she’s firmly in her “cats and sparkly things only” era, and this fit the bill. The knit cat isn’t just slapped on with some sad print, it’s actually woven into the sweater, which makes it look way more expensive than it is. The light gray cotton is soft but not flimsy, perfect for those early fall mornings when the air is crisp, but you’re still drinking iced coffee out of sheer denial that summer’s over. What I really appreciate is that it’s lightweight enough to wear indoors without turning your toddler into a sweaty pumpkin, but it layers easily over a long-sleeve tee when the weather dips. The cuffs and hemline have just enough stretch so it sits nicely without looking frumpy, and the whole thing has that classic GAP sturdiness that can survive playground antics and a spin through the wash without shrinking into doll clothes. Honestly, it’s one of those rare kid pieces that’s both practical and cute enough to make the holiday photo. Highly recommend for gifting.

I gave the GAP Girls’ Cotton Crewneck Sweater a solid spin this week, and it’s pleasantly dependable. The cotton knit feels soft but dense enough to offer real warmth without bulk, making it perfect for layering under jackets or wearing alone in milder temps. The fit is comfortably true to size — roomy enough to move freely but not so loose that it looks sloppy. The ribbed cuffs, hem, and neckline hold their shape well, resisting stretching even after multiple wears. The color stayed vibrant after laundering, and threads haven’t started to pull or fray. If I’m picky, I wish it were just a hair lighter on the weight for early fall, but that’s more a preference than a flaw. Overall, it’s earned a steady spot in her wardrobe.

I got this sweater for my almost 5 yo daughter because she loves kitties. The fit is a bit wide, which I have noticed is typical for GAP baby items (my kids are on the thin side so the wideness of the fit is more noticeable on them). As a sweater, the wide fit works for this piece and allows for room if you want another shirt or undershirt underneath for extra warmth. I like that it is made of 100% cotton because we try to stick with natural fibers in order to minimize microplastic exposure. It is increasingly difficult to find clothes without any added polyester, so I am happy that this is all cotton, especially as a sweater. Compared to sweaters made of other fibers, the fabric is thin (though heavier than a typical t-shirt knit fabric) and smooth rather than fuzzy. It is very cute with the cat design and will be a great addition to her wardrobe for the winter.
