I ordered the Gafeng Men's Two Piece Renaissance Knights Templar Costume for RenFair and Halloween. The model wears a small/medium and is five foot, five inches in height. But as you can never be sure about sizes, I ordered the large. As you can see from the pictures, the large works, allowing room for a little shrinkage or the bulk of additional clothing if so needed. As the tunic ties on the sides, you can make it larger or smaller, depending upon what works for you and your look. The tunic is lightweight and is slightly see-thru, which should keep you from getting overheated while you are in your costume. The red cross applique has sturdy stitching around the edges and should withstand many washings. I was not aware the tunic came with a black shirt. This was a nice surprise and the shirt fit fine. That said, it is a basic shirt with a round neck, made of polyester and a small amount of cotton. This means there is no stretch or give at all, and it might shrink a bit. Furthermore, I am not sure if a medium would have fit my small/medium sized model comfortably, for the large was not as loose as it should be. In addition, in an outdoor setting, the shirt material would probably make you sweat. Overall, the Gafeng Men's Two Piece Renaissance Knights Templar Costume is easy to care for, as it is 85% polyester and 15% cotton, so it is machine washable and will only shrink a small amount, if at all. For what they are, I believe they are made pretty well and my model said they were comfortable. They do run small however, so I would recommend you size up. The majority of my model's clothes are small/slim fit and he is wearing a large, in the pictures, so order accordingly. Five stars. ... show more

    • Decent quality - perhaps could use the belt..

To be fair, the listing is quite clear that this is a TWO piece costume - you get the black underlayer and the white tunic with a red Knights Templar cross, which are the two pieces. And those two pieces are as shown/described and do seem to be quite nice and of good quality - the materials are somewhat "costume-grade" as it were, but certainly not bad and the stitching / seams are well done so it should last through several wearings (important if you're using this for something other than a halloween costume like say a play/production or medieval times faire). That said, it really could use the inclusion of the belt that they show in all the pictures - without the belt, the tunic is flowing and shapeless. So I find myself now having to either hunt down such a belt or make one myself. So if Gafeng ends up reading this, please start including the belt, even if it means that you have to raise the price a few dollars - it would be a good addition and really help the costume. As is, I can certainly recommend the costume if you're looking for something "Knights Templar" in nature. It's a well-made costume and certainly creates the right medieval impression. I’m not a big fan of the Renaissance Era, but I know there are hardcore enthusiasts and I believe that the Gafeng Men's Renaissance Costume Tunic is something up their alley. The tunic is well-made from a mix of polyester and cotton, which is breathable and durable. The tunic’s design is well made, almost an authentic feel. The costume includes the tunic and long sleeve shirt; no belt. The costume fit is well done, although the long sleeve was slightly small for me; I’m 6 foot and 250 lbs. With additional accessories, this costume should highlight the crusader in you. This costume is made out of soft, comfortable material and held up well after a trip or two in the washer so far. The material is of a good quality and not itchy at all. This is a good costume. It only comes with the two pieces, the shirt and the cloak. I tied it around the front for the picture just to cinch it in a bit like it would be with a belt on. It does not come with pants or the belt. But, any pair of black pants will do, and you could really make a belt by just tying a strip of fabric around it.     • Fun Costume! No Belt Included.

This is a really fun costume - as the description states, no belt is included, and it kind of looks better with a belt. But almost everyone owns a black belt. The rest of the material is pretty comfy. It's kind of big and baggy, but that means it will fit many body types, and, crucially, over warm clothing for those people trick or treating on Halloween in the northern climes.
