I used the snowshoes for the first time at the Mount Rainer National Park. They were versatile and worked really well. A bit hard to strap on at first but once you get the hang of it, you can do it faster. That heel support helped quite a bit climbing up. I believe they perform as well as the similar more expensive snowshoes. I don’t know yet in the long run how the plastic will perform, but for now I am super happy with these. If you do not want to spend a lot and still want good snowshoes with heel support, these are the ones for you.

I had a great time hiking up Mt. Rainier with these. Carried my skis up, and skied down. The poles were a great addition. I can't comment on durability after one tour, but they look great afterwards, with no signs of wear or damage. I wanted something less expensive since I won't use these often.

These snowshoes are very similar to other name models. From the spikes and grips on the bottom- to the straps on top. For 100 buck coming in at 4.7 lbs you cannot go wrong with these. If you want to drop 350 and get lightning for 3.8 lbs that is the next best shoe. But for 1/3 price and 1 pound weight. Killer snowshoes. So far I have done many trips up some great snow and hilly terrain. Loving the views from the top.

These are actually 28” long instead of the advertised 30”. Other than that they are decent for the price. A little heavy, but they’re solid. The pack that comes with it is a sling bag, not a backpack.

Overall these snowshoes are very solid and I’m rating them at a 4 out of 5 for the reasons below: Concerns: 1. The decking and frame are all one piece. Instead of the commonly built snowshoe with a aluminum tubing frame (or just a frame in general) with a rubber/nylon decking, both the framing and deck are molded together into one piece of plastic. The plastic seems durable and heavy duty most definitely can hold someone’s weight. My concern with plastic is extreme cold/heat changes which may cause the plastic to degrade and become brittle over time. Other concerns I have are this all one plastic deck and frame design may provide little to no give/flexibility as my weight transfers into the snow shoe step after step. 2. The straps design may cause challenges. The heel strap and toe straps are all made of rubber as you can see in the picture. There is not really a buckle that the straps feed through. Instead there is a tooth that holds the straps tight. This design will make getting the snow shoes off and on very easy. However, I am concerned that as I trek in the snow, the moving and shifting of my boots will pull on the plastic hole that is connected to this tooth design. This hole is what keeps the straps tight to the boots and I am hopeful that the hole will not tear out. Pros: 1. The crampons are going to definitely keep you safe from slipping. Under the deck the lateral crampons run almost the whole length of the deck. I don’t see myself slipping on ice using these snow shoes. The main crampon at the pivot point seems ready to grip, and hold tight to any ice that I walk on. To be honest many snowshoe trails can become less snow powder and more hard pack, so this is an excellent feature. 2. The trekking poles are brilliant, I live in a place where there is very limited daylight in the winter months and I love brightly colored objects. These poles are easy to spot and will be hard to lose on the trail. Additionally the poles come with boots, cages, and the 3 piece extension design is solid.
