Decent shoe for price. Clips are cheap plastic and broke with first use. Poles definitely need an upgrade. But due those just starting or limited use, worth a shot.

Wasn't expecting much as these were only $85 They are amazing! The quick lock and release mechanism is brilliant. Solid construction, light weight. Pull strap on the front efficiently tightens the two front straps. The lift to loosen is easy. No fumbling with buckles in the cold! The heel strap is tough rubber that does not stretch while you walk. So your foot stays straight in the snow shoe! They definitely work and keep you from sinking knee deep into the powder. These are not professional high end shoes, but they are not toys either. Get the job done, but I would not want to trek across the Sierras and rely on them.
