These are pretty, these are easy to put on and take off (I know this for a fact after I fell over and had to take one off to get up again). They were a great price and...well, I love them because I can get out into the mountain snow and that makes me happy!

Looks pretty. But the image says it weight 3.3lb for 21inch, but it actually weight 4.3lb. Apparently most snowshoes weight 4~5lb anyway. so I would not return.

I weigh 165 pounds and carry roughly 20 pounds of gear, and my 25s have performed flawlessly on packed snow and in deeper powder. The heel risers were a noticeable help on inclines, and I felt pretty sure-footed on descents. These snowshoes are ridiculously fast and easy to put on, take off, and adjust on the fly. I’ve had no issues at all with ice or snow clumping. The attached picture of one shoe upright and the other turned over was taken immediately after a 2 mile trek - no accumulation of any kind! This is a budget show shoe with quality construction all the way around. The carry bag is also higher quality than I would expect at this price point. I can’t think of anything I don’t like and definitely recommend this brand to others looking for a quality snowshoe without breaking the bank. ... show more

I've never been snowshoeing before so I have nothing to compare it to. However, I love these and have enjoying using them to hike up (to ski/board) down. The heel piece staying up does help when you are in a very steep up position. They feel light like I barely have anything under my feet but they grip very well and feel comfortable. When properly adjusted (these dont come with instructions so first timers may need some research), I found the snowshoes to be comfortable and good at doing their job in two or three feet of powder snow. I got these snowhoes last minute for a backpacking trip due to a snowstorm. For 70 bucks we were able to continue with our trip and had a great time! The only complaints I have is the durability and the heel lift. Snowshoes this large have a hard time going up steep slopes, the heel lifts that are supposed to help feel a bit flimsy. The bigger issue is the tear that developed after just one day of heavy use. Climbing at steep angles had the ratchet straps rub with the board. I will not be using these again for backpacking since I cannot afford to have snowshoes break on me. For day trips and less extreme adventures, these shoes will last much longer! ... show more
