Bought this to replace the broken crank on my son’s SYXMOTO 50cc holeshot. The string fray’d and broke after 5-6 pulls. I inspected the case to see if I could see any sharp edges or anything causing the issue; didn’t feel or see anything so I replaced the pull string. Again after 5-6 pulls the string started fraying and broke on about the 10th pull. Took the case apart again and again inspected thoroughly. Bought a new pull string and made sure I was pulling at the best angle possible to keep string/case contact at a minimum; and again a few pulls and the string started fraying. Very frustrating ... show more

Got a SYX Moto 50cc 2 stroke mini bike pit bike for my kids to rip up the yard from a garage sale last year and have been slowly replacing the parts from the front wheel to the rear wheel and everything in between. It needed a new pull cord to start the engine, and the engine didn't have a spark so I was told by the previous owner. So we started with those parts first. Needless to say, the engine started right up with a fresh pull cord to start the pit bike. Also as a spare for the Syxmoto 50 cc pitbike had 2nd pull cord string in case this one was ever ripped or pulled apart later in the future. Great value for ant one needing a replacing pull cord.
