Being visually impaired, I have to sit close to the TV and had been looking for a stand that sits off the floor with room to put my feet under it instead of on the base that sits on the floor like my old one which had gotten pretty messed up from my slippers/flips.shoes always being on it, so in that sense this was exactly what I was looking for. That being said, it's a few inches lower than I would have liked. I liked that the unit came well packaged. no dings or dents inside. Outside?? some. The assembly is simple. no small wooden dowels or cam lock type fasteners that fail the first time you move the thing. The legs all use large molded plastic pieces that lock together well. Great for the price. Easy to put together and fits my tv perfectly. Just keep in mind the price point and don't expect luxury. It is on the smaller side so I would recommend checking measurements before you order.
