The snowshoes are easy-on, easy-off. They fit extra-large women's feet (I'm talking so large, they don't sell shoes that size in most stores). There's a lift for the heel that our rental snowshoes didn't have; they help for when climbing hills). The poles can be used in snow or dry land, as the bottom can be switched out. These were easy enough to get on and off, held us up well on top of the snow, provided good traction, and came with everything we needed for an outing minus the actual shoes to strap in. These snowshoes are set up with quick on and off once the straps are set. They have worked well for me to get out and about even with large amounts of snow on the ground. Easy to store when not using and the bag they come with is handy to keep them together.
