This is a lovely garment, but it runs a little large. I am a "petite," so I bought a small, but it is still too large. I had worn it before I realized this, so I couldn't send it back. I will wash it and give it to a person who can wear it. And, as I said, it is lovely, drapes beautifully and is very flattering - on someone that it fits.

I was somewhat concerned about the differences in opinions when I first read the reviews for this blouse. It almost seemed that the reviews were for two different blouses! I decided to take a chance and go by the measurements on the size guide, and I'm so happy I did! I ordered this top in the deep wine red and was so pleased when it arrived.The color is beautiful ! I immediately ordered another one in black. The material is not see through for the black and red ones that I received. The material hangs nicely and flows well. It feels light and flowy without being see through. It feels wonderful. There might be a small amount of stretch but not much, it just hangs nicely and flows well. I ordered an XL. I am 5'6.5", about 165 lbs. I believe you must pay attention to the bust measurement to get a good fit for this top. The front pleat falls about the bust line for me. I always add an inch to the chest measurement for a blouse to hang nicely and not pull. I followed the size chart and it was a perfect fit for me. The blouse is somewhat fitted across the shoulders in front and back. I am a 36c bra size, and I have plenty of room in this area, the pleat does not gap open. If you have a large bust measurement, you definitely want to order up a size in this blouse so the pleat hangs loosely the way it is supposed to. I have a chubby tummy I like to hide and this blouse is a dream for that. I tend to be a little wide in the shoulders, so I knew I needed the XL for it to hang well. I have a 43.5" or 44" avg bust/chest measurement, depending the bra I wear. The top completely covers my entire tummy to about the bend of my legs in front and hits about lower hip length for me. If you are taller it will of course be a little shorter on you. I have not washed it yet, but it should wash well being polyester. The wrinkles were not terrible in mine. There were more wrinkles in the black top because it was vacumed packed. I gently warm ironed the wrinkles out as I always do in new clothes, and this type of material. I turn the garment inside out, and make sure the temp of the iron is not too hot for the material. I really love this blouse as it is very forgiving to the waist line! It is very flattering for me. I'm thinking of ordering it in white.

I orderd a 3X, one size up from my true size 2X, just in case. It is a loose fit espec. on shoulders n neck. I guess this is one of the True to size items. Am keeping it still fr a NEED to wear time or giveaway. Shirt is still well made and beautiful w the long sleeve n V neck. If order again a different color, will go fr 2X.

I love these types of tops. They go with everything and is comfortable, lightweight and flattering. I have broad shoulders so, I always buy a size bigger than I normally take ( especially for this type of material) easy to care for wash and a lightly heated dryer. The versatility for me is the fact I can wear this top for 3 of the 4 seasons. This would be too hot for summertime in hot hot weather.
