Ordered this product, put it together last night and I did everything required I was downstairs doing laundry and got a text that it broke apart I went upstairs to see if it was an error putting it together, but it wasn't it was split in half. I didn't have that many books on the shelves 2 of the shelves were completely empty and I had small light weight books...smh my poor books were subjected to the disrespect of being thrown to the ground like the useless piece of trash that they were placed on..... NOOOOOOOO. Now I have to earn their trust back by getting a bookshelf that isn't complete trash. If you have fur babies lets hope you don't have to use a spatula to flip their flat, cold body off of the ground like a pancake...poor animal could've had a death by bookshelf...that would've been a terrible way for her to be taken out she's side eyein me now too as if I set her up and left my apartment hoping to find her under it.... this is a bad look for me.... Definitely going to do better. Waste of money, almost lost my animal, books resent me...this ruined my day. After writing all of this it just hit me that I'm upset..... boooo to you! ... show more

Used two of these units for display purposes in my dining area. They worked perfectly. Did not like them setting directly on the floor, so use garden blocks under them and it elevated them about 4 inches off the floor. They take time to put together, but they are well worth the effort. Would have like more nail covers to cover all the exposed nail heads, but just wait until you have the shelves in place to see which ones are visible when deciding which ones to cover. ... show more

I was so excited to get this. I am good at putting furniture together- so not an armature. Over 50% of the predrilled holes were too short- had to push hard to get them flat. If that didn’t work I would have to take the screw out- re drill the whole longer (extra work). And one of the pre drilled holes was short and crooked.... pushed out the sides. Halfway put together it’s obvious it won’t stand up without moving side to side. Instead of trying to take it apart (some of the drill holes are stripped because of cheap metal) I am just going to burn it. Total waist of money. Spend the extra money and get something better. ... show more

    • So nice we bought it 3 times
we have so many books we could be our own library. We just rebuilt our home and ordered 3 of these for our house. They are sturdy and secured to the wall. Simple to assemble (the teenager did one). They look great in all 3 places in our home, bedrooms and living area. Holds books and trinkets.

Apparently my bookcase wasn't strong enough to hold my books? And even after putting the ONE safety bracket it was still very wobbly. If you need it for a handful of decorative items this will probably do the job. Don't get it if you're using it for any sizable collection of books.

I’m disappointed by this book shelf. Some of the pre drilled pieces didn’t line up and the pieces are thin. It’s flimsy and cheap looking. I purchased this for my office and am contemplating sending it back. Definitely not worth $80. I would except this kind of quality for $40. I feel kind of taken advantage of. ... show more

Great little shelf! Big warning.... check it before assembly! There were 2 pieces with damage.... in the pictures you see scratches and maybe water damage. Thankfully, I could assemble it to hide that.
