I was pleasantly surprised. The quality of the fabric was good and it fit perfectly on my 6 year old. This was for her cowgirl themed skate party and she lived it. Especially the color pink.

The large fit my daughter who is a solid 7 year old. Don’t know if that helps. The belt that was in there was a little cheap but cute outfit overall.

My daughter is a 7/8. That's what we ordered and it fit great. This is a tasteful, modest cowgirl costume. My daughter loved it. The guns and belt are completely removable if that is an issue with you or wearing it to a public place (like school).     • Can I give this costume a 3.75 starred review?
That means instead of 5 stars (since our granddaughter LOVES this costume; but has a hat (albeit it pink+glittery) that more resembles a style of hat worn by Humphrey Bogart!! Only subtracted such a marginal portion (1/4 of a star) since it doesn't fit "Cowgirl" but our younger granddaughter won't take it off!! Unfortunately, this costume was selected for another granddaughter and has turned out to be way too small for her, regardless of the sizing chart provided. Compelled to remove a star due to this; fortunately for us, her sister is just tad smaller than her so it fits just well enough (to work on Halloween, in 3 weeks). Next year will definitely be a 'hand-down' costume to younger granddaughter; noting we usually use costumes once, then 'release' to become play costumes. Remainder of the 'set' includes everything pictured and all are cute/functional/ seem to be well-made...to be better determined after our 'Cowgirl' runs like a wild banshee throughout our neighborhood! Note about blouse: the 'ribbon' is attached and looks perfectly in place (although permanent) but can be (as we'll be doing) covered up by the additional bandana. Guns: go click-click. Skirt: seem I'm the only one that appreciated the extra matching pink insert...adds some pop! Glasses: very cute and popular at our house...enough so we have NO IDEA where they currently are! Or who (admits to) had them last! Unfortunately they do not include any of the western boots/footwear; I realized this beforehand (whew) and kept my hand over bottom of pics as girls shopped (survived 4 generations of girls!!). ... show more

My daughter absolutely adores this costume and I especially love it because it literally comes with every accessory that I'd think a cowgirl would come with. My daughter wore this costume last week to a trunk or treat and although it is a bit too big on her we still worked with it and she still got a ton of compliments. She literally was stopped to take pics for the school because of how cute the costume looked on her. I especially love the addition of the cowgirl hat which brings the entire costume together. The only thing my daughter was missing was the boots but hey lol. My only complaint was that I couldn't quite understand how the gun belt worked in order to keep the guns holstered up on her waist so I just had her carry the gun around in her hand which still worked. ... show more

As Halloween is right around the corner, we picked this up for my niece to wear, on candy night. LOL She is excited and ready to wear it now but, it must wait.
