It was a hit for the Halloween party! My man is 6’2” and it fit him almost perfectly. Now, it’s just a costume for be mindful of the fact that the fabric is not going to be real denim or anything. Comfort was fine, a little static-prone but comfortable still. It’s durable enough to walk around in and jump up and down… but i wouldn’t encourage doing the splits or anything LOL Now the appearance is so accurately and obviously Popeye. Now he just needs a can of spinach, a cigar and his Olive Oil on his arm. Happy Halloween! This is a must!

Classic Popeye

Even though the product link says size 'Plus', we ordered and received a size 'XL' (as listed on the package)...which fits perfect! The hat that comes with package is a little small, so had to buy a bigger hat separately. My boyfriend wore the top out vs. tucked-in, with the belt under the belly. Also, the belt was a little long (YMMV), but it doesn't distract from the outfit. Overall, the costume received many compliments and the arms with the anchor emblem are what make it 'Popeye' identifiable (I had stuffed the arms with some bubble wrap to fill out especially the emblem area).

Great Popeye Costume!

For the money, this Popeye costume my husband wore for Halloween was well worth it! I added a pipe and a can of spinach. l dressed as Olive Oyl. It was a great couple Halloween costume and got many compliments!

Good value - Popeye costume

Costume was pretty cool. The top fit perfect and was higher quality than expected. The pants were huge, but can be altered pretty easily. Be prepared to do some ironing. The arms need to be stuffed with something. Otherwise they flatten when wore even after ironing. All in all, good value.

Helps to know your actual size you need

This item is true to size or a bit small. There was no give. My fiancé wears between an extra large or 2xl and this XL was a no go. Way too tight through chest. Otherwise very cute outfit.
