WIth COVID-19 pushing to work at home, and likely staying that way for a while, I decided it was time to get a nice desk that fit all my computer systems, and I wanted a standing desk like I had at work. Lots of searching for desks - I wanted a large desktop, standing desk, and a rectangular desktop without the cutout. After searching for a bunch here and everything looking the sameish, the reviews on this desk looked like it was a solid product. 23 JUN 2020, 1112 MST: Initial impressions just finished putting it together. The desk arrived in two boxes, both early. Not hard to move around the house to get where I needed it. Easy to put together. Immediately after buying I got a link to the video instructions which were helpful. There aren't too many parts, the video is slightly different than the instruction book. I'd recommend using the video, and if something doesn't seem right (the 72" desk doesn't have machine screws for the center rails), use the instructions as a fall back. The included cable locks are very handy, saved me an additional trip/order. Adjustment is quiet, smooth, works great. I'm 5'6 and comfortable for me standing and sitting. CON - only one so far, I am a leaner when standing. Just noticed that most of the hardware is towards the back of the desk and there is a slight bow when I forearm lean on the front of the desk. Dear Fully, I bought this desk directly from Fully.com bc they were having a sale. I ordered it on a Monday, received it the following Thursday, and i put things together Friday. When unboxing i noticed the surface had a small dent. Probably 1/16”’s and it wasn’t really noticeable. It was on the far left corner towards the grommet. I contacted fully and they told me i had 2 options. 1) i could keep the desktop and receive $150 back or 2) i could get another desktop and keep both. I chose the $150 because I needed the desk to be up and running the following Sunday so I could not wait. My old manual s/s desk was broken and that’s why I was replacing it. They gave me a solution right away and since the dent was so small and it comes with a 5yr warranty on the top I didn’t see why I would bother with another desktop because no matter what, the shipping company are not going to take care of items this large and heavy. I used to work for usps and I used to always be mad at customers that purchased really large/heavy items. This desk is a dark bamboo and a 72x30” desk with 3 stage legs, motors, and programmable handset. This desk rises to 51”’s and can sit down to 25”’s because of the 3 staged legs. It is super sturdy and at 35”’s the desk doesn’t move at all but it does wobble a bit not much at 51”’s but at 45”’s which is my standing height it barely moves at all. The install took me a while because I couldn’t figure out how to take apart the cross support at the top until I realized that the cross support was held together by set screws. After I removed the set screws I was able to take the cross support apart and began to put the desk together. I don’t know why the manual doesn’t say this and it was super frustrating but I figured it out after 15 minutes of staring at the cross support. I thought I was missing parts or my desk was defective but I couldn’t believe it because I bought a Boden desk from Fully which is a fixed height desk in walnut for my wife in 42”x30”’s because it was replacing a cheap Ikea desk of a similar size and that desk was super well made. Once I figured it out I did not really need the manual as everything was pretty straight forward because I have put together a s/s desk before and they’re all similar. I just used the manual for photos but did not read the instructions. The remainder of the process took about an hour because I built the legs together first and then I unboxed the surface and took it upstairs to where the desk will be used. Bolting it on was simple and I’m glad I did not need to drill any holes into the desk except to mount the control panel. The best part about this desk is the warranty. It will for sure be the last desk I will ever need to buy. At $750 it was a steal. The warranty is 15yrs on the frame, components, and 5yrs on the desktop. The other thing that was awesome was the fact it can hold up to 350lbs. I have a lot of equipment but I don’t think they weigh anywhere close to 350lbs so I think I’ll be good for the rest of my life. This desks legs are about 30”’s deep so the desk is really sturdy at any height and the surface is super thick and heavy. ... show more

I received my Jarvis desk yesterday, about a week earlier than anticipated. I was extremely excited and went right to work at putting my new desk together. After about 1.5 hours of assembly, all that was left to turn it on. As I attempted to reset the handset, I was met with a message, "Error 08". After searching through their incredibly unhelpful website for a solution to no avail, I decided to contact them. You can imagine my frustration after calling them only to hear a recorded message stating that they were too busy to accept calls and to send an email instead. I sent an email immediately (>24 hrs ago) and have yet to get a response. As such, I simply cannot recommend this product to anyone, and I would steer clear of making a purchase from Fully until after they implement measures to better meet market demand on the customer service front. ... show more
