    • Great customer service but there’s more…
I ordered these tires from Avid Cycles because the price was right (done my research). I’ve never ordered tires on line before, just thru the dealership that mounts them as well. Thought I’d take a chance. Turned out one tire was defective (deformed) and this wasn’t an Amazon Prime order so no free returns. Well a week away from 4th of July weekend, so time was an issue. I called Avid Cycles and explained their negligence, requesting they work with me with prepaid label. I expected a shut door but they really went above and beyond. I was sent a prepaid label; simultaneously they expedited the tire I needed to me which arrived before the 4th so worked out great! They hadn’t even received the other tire yet before shipping it. Super customer service!!! I gave it 4 stars because I believe the defective tire should’ve been caught before they shipped it out. Just sayin 😉 ... show more

    • I've never had tires get so many punctures.
We bought these tires for our pioneer 1000-5. We ride on a mixture of pavement, dirt, rock and a bit of snow. Most of our riding is done in the mountains of northern calif. The tires wear ok. They are not what I consider loud on the pavement. Traction has been good in all conditions. My huge complain is these tires are pin cushions. I've driven a lot of miles both on and off road with different brands of tires and I've used more tire plugs on these tires than any/all tires I've ever ran. We only have about 1000 miles on these tires with a lot if tread left but I'm buying new tires. My last two holes were done on pavement where sticks stuck into the tires. The road was not covered in sticks there were just some here and there. As far as air pressure, I run between 8 and 14 pounds depending on surface. ... show more
