This review applies to all three pairs of FTCayanz "100% Linen" Pants. I used the size chart and ordered 2X. I tried them on, but instead of being a little loose, they were tight around hips and thighs. I will have to return, and I suspect that incorrect measurements is the reason for "frequently returned item" warning by Amazon. Before receiving, I thought maybe it was because of the fabric. The tag says they're 100% linen, but they feel a little too "silky" to be 100% linen; I'd guess they might be a linen-rayon blend. I own other linen & linen-cotton blend & linen-rayon blend clothes & I also do yarn work, so I am familiar with fabric texture. Even so, they're quite soft & I had hoped they'd fit. They did not. Much too tight. Hips were supposed to be 52" and I have 50" hips, so there should have been plenty of room to spare, they shouldn't have been tight at all. The legs are "straight leg" from hip to hem, so not for those of us who have meaty thighs. Unsightly in being revealing of lumps and bumps-- one reason to wear linen is to help hide that! The pants are on the thinner side, which means some transparency. The other thing to know about these pants is they do not have real back pockets, it's fake, but does look nice. I can't speak to value for money or shrinkage, but I wager even hand washing & line drying there'd be shrinkage (especially if there is rayon in them). Use caution. I'm 5'2" 220+ pounds, evenly distributed & consistently wear 2X during my slow weight loss. These 2X fit more like XL. Unfortunately, you can't trust their measurement chart, so buy at your own risk if you're plus size. I'll be returning all 3 pairs. The striped pair almost fit, and the dark grey was just slightly looser than the linen color pair-- inconsistent measurements even though they're all labeled 2X.

Love this color. Nice pant. Slightly smaller (narrower) than a different brand I really like, but I appreciate the color options with this one. My only problem is I bought 3 colors and all came the same size (if you held them up to each other). But one color, when I went to try on, was clearly smaller than the other two. I could barely get them on. I don’t know if it was the cut or the elastic, but it just didn’t stretch the same—very tight and no give. But shop allowed returns easily so no complaints. Of the 3 colors, the one that didn’t fit was the one I didn’t really need.

Love the feel of the pants and the height of the pants on me since I am 4’11! They sit perfectly at the ankles. I ordered the green pants and a pair of black pants. But in the mail, they gave me the stripe pants and the green pants instead of my black pants. So sad! :(

These are legit 100% linen, Great for hot weather, yet sturdy enough that I wouldn’t be worried about sitting on the steps in front of a museum in them (for example). Love the vivid gold color. They are linen, so of course they will wrinkle and need to be washed cold and air dried. Unfortunately, they are too tight around the waist for me so I am returning. Sad face.
