I researched for a long time - read a gazillion reviews. Yet didn't realize until deciding to keep it - on first full day of use - that there is no outer pocket to slip my phone in for easy access. How could I have missed this detail, or underestimated the convenience of such a thing?! Also, I will definitely have to replace the shoulder strap with something wider - the <1" strap that came with it caused shoulder pain by the end of the day. It’s a beautiful bag and the smell reminds me of my tack room and saddles but….not big enough and not enough pockets. SMH. I carry my life in my purse. This bag doesn’t do the work for the price. The media could not be loaded. Finally third time of ordering this Frye Melissa zippered satchel .Over two and n a half year time frame. This one I will be keeping. Real leather factory wrapped. No scratches. Looks just like the one in the store. First two I ordered looked like shiney cheap leather not properly wrapped. Had scrathes. Only complaint is the dust/ storage bag is not big enough to cover the entire satchel. For this kind of money we deserve a storage bag that fits the entire purse. Without having to smuch the satchel to get it in. I will be contacting the seller. I love the size of this purse. It can fit my 13 in tablet my fry wallet and all of my other things I carry. Plus more. I love that it comes with a strap so I can carry it cross body style. I'm very very pleased with this purse. I've dreamed of owning this purse since they came out several years ago. Love the quality & style of this bag! Real leather & hardware is well made. Definitely worth it given the price! It is on the heavy side so would not recommend it for a long trip or all day errands. Frye products are well made & never disappoint!
