GORGEOUS If you are a Frye fan and like a rugged, distressed bag and don't need a lot of compartments, you will like this bag. I lusted over this bag in Ice for years after spotting a lady carrying one through the airport. I have several pairs of Frye boots, but for some reason I couldn't bring myself to pay the cost on this bag. Finally did it a few months ago. I. Love. It. The color is gorgeous, and it's getting 'beaten up' nicely. There are no pockets other than the ones on the wall of the satchel, they are fairy flat and small slide-in style with one larger zip pocket. I don't carry a lot of small, loose stuff in my bag, so it works. If you're someone who does, or wants things very organized, you'll probably hate it. The quality is, of course, excellent. Thick, heavy, beautiful leather that feels and smells amazing. Good gusseting, so that the bag retains its shape when you set it down. Roomy interior, well made adjustable and removable strap. Handles will fall flat to the purse if using the strap. This bag will last for a decade or more if you take care of it, and it'll look great doing it. This is a gorgeous handbag and it was delivered within a couple of days. Also, the bag was completely wrapped by the factory and untouched. The bag is a light lilac color. Love it! Great purchase, on sale for $220! Updated on 9/25/19 So, I really liked this bag, but I wanted the brown more than anything for this winter. I happened to notice there was a "Used" "Very Good" condition bag on sale, from $191 Amazon Warehouse and I figured, " Why not, might as well give it a shot," and return it if need be. WOW am I glad I did. It came with almost all of the protective wrapping, not a scratch on it, smelling great and no flaws that I could find. This bag is PERFECT and I think it's my favorite handbag ever (at least right now). The brown is absolutely yummy! The on-line order gods smiled on me this time. I'm so happy. I guess the moral of the story is, "Try the 'Used' items, if the deal looks good!" ... show more

All....I don't typically write reviews even though I read them quit frequently to make decisions on products. I have had this bag on my wish list for about a year and every time I would go to order the price would prevent me from moving forward, let's face it...this is a lot to spend on a bag. Well I finally pulled the trigger....and boy was it worth it!! I wish I had gotten it sooner. The color is beautiful (not to dark not to light), I got the dark brown and I LOVE it. So well made, so classic... good for work or casual. Also, my laptop for work fits so I only have to carry ONE bag which is great. Mine also did not come with the Frye logo hanging on the handle but I don't really care about that as I usually remove them (they irritate me) Great shoulder strap for cross body use and just an overall amazing bag, good feeling in the hand, high quality, beautiful leather. So worth the money!! Saving for the wallet that matches now. Do it....do it.....it's worth it. ... show more

Love the quality & style of this bag! Real leather & hardware is well made. Definitely worth it given the price! It is on the heavy side so would not recommend it for a long trip or all day errands. Frye products are well made & never disappoint!

I researched for a long time - read a gazillion reviews. Yet didn't realize until deciding to keep it - on first full day of use - that there is no outer pocket to slip my phone in for easy access. How could I have missed this detail, or underestimated the convenience of such a thing?! Also, I will definitely have to replace the shoulder strap with something wider - the <1" strap that came with it caused shoulder pain by the end of the day. The short straps aren't really long enough to keep the bag on my shoulder - maybe because I'm tall and not a beanpole 🤷🏻♀️ otherwise, it's a beautiful and sturdy bag and it serves the purpose for which it was bought. ... show more

I'm in love with this bag. I saw it at a department store and decided I had to have it - and I am NOT a "purse person". I have never spent this much for a bag (and still can't believe I did), but would do it again. I love the look and feel of the leather - it appears "rugged" for the lack of a better word - it's not dainty. For me, the size is perfect - large enough to hold my wallet, makeup bag, glasses, keys, phone, etc. and not too deep causing everything to get lost and jumbled in the bottom. The handles aren't large enough to wear this bag on your shoulder (use the removable shoulder strap if that's what you're looking for) which is just another reason I really like it because when carrying, it doesn't hang too low like it's going to drag on the ground. My only concern is its weight - the bag is heavy because of the fabulous leather. I'm now a Frye Fan! ... show more

This handbag was a complete disappointment. It does not look like the picture. The color is not the same as shown. I have looked at this purse several times and hesitated to purchase it , finally did and what a letdown. I am returning it.
