The fabric of these shirts is more solid than average to me, The pocket can hold my reading glasses better than most. My only concerns are that the body is tight and the sleeves are short, so they run small. I should have bought a size larger than usual. The only colors are dark blue, gray, and black. Addendum: they run tight, and they shrink after washing, so I'd call them a medium/large now (XL when ordered). Order at least one size larger than usual. ... show more

Firstly, let's talk about the softness of these shirts. When they say Eversoft, they mean it. It’s like wrapping yourself in a hug from a cloud, or at least what I imagine that would feel like. My husband actually thought I was pranking him when he first felt the material. "This can’t be my shirt," he said, baffled by the lack of cardboard-like stiffness he’s used to. Then there's the fit. These shirts actually consider that a man’s body might be something other than a perfect rectangle. The result? A look that says, "I care about my appearance," but in a rugged, I-didn’t-try-too-hard sort of way. Plus, the pocket! It's not just for show – you can put things in it! Who knew a pocket could be so revolutionary? Now, let's talk durability. These shirts can survive a man’s lifestyle, which in my husband's case includes everything from "I'm going to fix that engine" to "Oops, I spilled BBQ sauce all over myself." It's hard to find t-shirts with a pocket. These have the pocket and they fit well. For some reason Amazon is the only place I can seem to find them. They also come in the multi-pack which is a better deal. They look well after many washings - they hold the color, don't shrink, and they are soft. Tag free makes them more comfortable. Been buying Hanes for years. This is the first time I have an issue. The fabric is sturdy and color fast. The issue is with the sleeve length (too short) and the hems (at the sleeves and the bottom of the shirt) roll up after washing.
