These briefs fit like a second skin. Light weight, silky smooth and very breathable. So far they are also holding up well with normal washing and wearing. I some times hang them to dry (they dry very quickly) because they are so light and SEEM delicate like silk, but they are of course are not. And did I mention "THEY DON'T RIDE UP"! ... show more

The hubs is an underwear snob...he buys himself designer underwear and ends up paying up to $30 a pair! Only to have to replace them every few months because they wear out! I bought him these for vacation in March because I was trying to not blow all of our spending money and life savings on man panties! He admitted that they were just as comfortable and supportive. Very good quality, nice and soft. I am 6ft 2in about 230lbs, 36-38 waist line, and these fit perfect along with the length of the boxers are around 5-6 inches from my knees.

The fabric is nice but these run a bit small. I wear XL and they were a bit snug but still wearable. Also there are a couple of seams in that run up each side of the rear so there is one on each cheek which is a bit uncomfortable. Not bad but will probably order the Breathable boxer briefs next time. As you can see, the Grey boxer briefs are the breathable fruit of the looms an the blue are the microfiber. Both are extra large so you can see how the microfiber run small. ... show more

    • Amazing for the price

I've bought two sets of these boxer briefs and they are excellent overall, especially for the price. I've worn ExOfficio and Duluth Trading Co. long boxer briefs before, and while those brands make an excellent product, one pair costs twice what a pack of four of these babies does. They are lightweight, comfortable, don't ride up or twist, and silky to the touch which is also kinda nice for putting on the pants. They slide right over with little resistance. I haven't had them long enough to know about long-term durability, but I've probably had them for 3-6 months and they're holding up well so far. My only complaint was that the sizing seems a bit off. The first set I got was a medium (my normal size). They fit nicely in the waist and legs, but really end up tucking my fishing tackle up into an uncomfortable position. I'm not trying to walk around with nut huggers on. So for my next set I sized up to large, but I was worried they would be too big in the waist and legs. Not so! The large fits perfectly. I'd just recommend buying one size up from your normal size unless you like your junk crushed up tightly against the taint. Update: as for long term durability, they could be better. In several pairs, the back of the waistband elastic has done that thing where it gets all loose and wavey. However, I think this is mainly due to drying them. I try not to dry them in a dryer but hang to dry and that seems to help them last longer. Still, for the price it’s hard to go wrong. ... show more

    • Let's talk on the touchy subject of men's underwear shall we?

Not the best shopper for underwear. I don't know if there's a missing chromosome amongst men but it is a very frustrating and very sensitive subject when it comes to one's personal underwear. Yes I said it. So I asked the wife to help me out. I revealed to her that comfort was very important at my age as far as underwear goes. The visual look was no longer very important and it was about practicality and comfort. Most importantly with my body size not having any specific description such as sleek, athletic, svelte, slender, medium, and such I certainly needed professional assistance. I'm not a boxer fan and I'm certainly not into the boy toy underwear. So of course my wife immediately went to the fruit of the loom and Hanes inventory and selections and found these fruit of the loom long leg microfiberish boxer briefs. It's a four pack so it's certainly nice to get almost a week's supply. See how men think? She said that these boxer briefs would breathe and would also help with the sweating when I was working. Sweating perspiration issues in that area are a serious and potentially embarrassing possibility.... And she also said these are not cotton and won't get baggy or loose and ride up your legs and bunch up where they're not supposed to. Follow up: holy cow! my new fruit of the loom boxer briefs are awesome. First of all they stay put they don't move they don't shift. Secondly like the wife said the material is very lightweight and very very comfortable. It's like you're going commando with coverage. The long leg design is fantastic. I am not kidding you they do not move at all throughout the day. And I think the polite term for absorbing muck and sweat is called wicking and my boxer briefs are wicking the hell out of the moisture. I strongly recommend this style and brand of boxer briefs for all men my age entering retirement and not wanting to worry about daily underwear issues and concerns. I so enjoyed this brand of boxer brief the wife ordered me two more packs and it's like Christmas at my house every morning. I was not compensated for my strange comments nor did I receive any products for free or complimentary for this wonderful review. Bottom line my opinion is my own and I think that it's important to pass this information along because I know there's a lot of lost souls out there trying to figure out whether to look chic or to be practical.
