I had hesitations in buying the Fresh ourfresh 2 dispenser because several reviews stated the fan either didn't work or stopped working, but decided to buy one as a test in my facility anyway. I don't think those people read the instructions. It's designed to run 2 seconds every 6 minutes that the unit detects light. It's been a little over a week since I installed it and I just confirmed the fan is working (silently) as described. The dispenser was easy to mount on the wall and the air freshener is simple to install. The air freshener's scent adequately covers this 200 sq ft restroom and is less invasive than the spray dispenser it replaced. I'm hoping the fragrance lasts longer than its 30-day lifespan (scent and battery) as that will require monthly maintenance versus spray dispensers that can last 90 days for fragrance and has a longer battery life. However, I've had multiple spray dispensers fail in mechanical operation including not working at all even though they had new batteries to repeatedly spraying about every second emptying the contents quickly, over-saturating the air in the confined restrooms and leaving slick chemical stains on the floor; hence, the reason I'm trying out Fresh's ourfresh 2 dispenser. If all goes well, I plan to replace the remaining spray dispensers in the rest of this facility over the next few months.

I have tried several of these now, because they smell good and I like the idea, but the 3M adhesive pads provided are pathetic. I adhered them to clean tile and so far all 4 have fallen and two have broken. But hey it's only 3M, what would they know about adhesive? Aside from that, if you fasten them with something else, the units seem fine. That gets them 1 star.

I've been using the air fresheners in both my living room and bathroom, and I’m really happy with how well it works. Unlike those old aerosol sprays that leave a mist or sticky film, this uses a dry fragrance system—so no mess on furniture or counters, which I really appreciate. The scent I picked (I went with Island Sunrise) smells clean and inviting, and it's strong enough to keep both spaces fresh without being overpowering. My bathroom smells pleasant all day, and the living room has a subtle, clean scent that guests always comment on. One cartridge really does last the full 30 days, and the fragrance doesn’t fade halfway through the month. The device itself is compact, easy to install, and blends in well with home decor—nothing bulky or industrial-looking.

I have a speical needs child and a younger child in pull ups. I stick one of these by the diaper pail and one in my bathroom. Refills seem expensive but please take into account you get a new battery and it along with the refill don't need replaced but by every month.

I already have one of these but the fan died so I know how to open it. This one broke a side piece off opening it right out of the box. So disappointed UPDATE: Seller was wonderful to work with and the fragrance is yummy.
