I love these French fried onions! They not only add great taste, but add a wonderful crunch to salads, burgers, etc. as well. The only problem, actually two, that I have is that the resealable bags aren’t resealable. No matter how many times I try, I just can’t get the seal to close and end up having to use a bag clip. The other issue i run into all the time is that the pieces of onions are usually broken into tiny pieces, very few are large. They still taste good, just not very appealing looking. The photo attached is of a newly oped bag. By the time you use up some, the remaining pieces are substantially smaller. I’m sure part of this problem is due to the shipping time. First going from the manufacturer to Amazon, then from Amazon to the buyer. All the shaking and handing must cause them to break into small pieces. Wish there was some way to eliminate or minimize the problem! ... show more

They’re probably *not healthy; highly greasy and salty but they satisfy my craving for a *salty snack and they satisfy better than eating any potato chip or fungions (another onion snack), in my opinion. This is my second time ordering them on Amazon and there will be future orders as long as I am still able to. I eat them alone, by themselves, straight out of the bag; they have great flavor! I have put them in soup too and they are good that way too. Everything goes well with the transactions and the bag is “stay-fresh” and has a quality-working zip-lock closure to keep them fresh in between uses. Yum! We buy these frequently and use them to top salads, casseroles, even burgers. They're the same as the brand in the grocery store, but so much cheaper per ounce! They do tend to get greasy at the bottom of the container if you do not use them in a reasonable amount of time, but otherwise zero complaints. I actually compared these with a national store brand of crispy fried onions. Sometimes store brands can be equal to, or even better than some name brands. Not so this time. The store brand had larger pieces of fried onions, but French's had the store brand beat by miles in flavor. These are delicious for lots of cooking uses but I love than as a snack while watching TV. You know the little cans you get around Thanksgiving? This is a whole lot more. I expected to get a bag similar to what they have in the produce isle. This bag is like 4 of those bad boys. With the ziptop closure we had them demolished long before staleness was a concern.

There is nothing more annoying than going to Costco only to find out they have either moved your item or dont have it in stock. I have a love hate relationship with these onion rings. These are very good, addicting, but has saturated fat. Buy wiith the other brand, (not as tasty) and mix them. Makes for nice snacking.
