Bought these in a size 8 for my son for a Halloween costume (uniform). He normally wears a size 7, but I'd rather err on the side of bigger. When they first arrived, they were far too big in the waist (maybe 1.5-2") and a good 2" too long - not a problem, I can do a little basic tailoring. After one wash on cool, they shrunk. He tried them on again and they're now the perfect length and almost perfect in the waist. We're lucky here, but buyer beware!

These pants have been a blessing! My son absolutely hates jeans. Can not stand button closures, if they're too tight, bunchy, stiff, you name it. He's picky. So when his school switched to khaki uniform pants I death searched every department store near by for elastic waste band khakis that still looked dressy but also would withstand a busy 7 year old boy. Lol But no luck. I thought to check Amazon just in case and was beyond excited when they were offered as a try before you buy! So I bought 4 pair and haven't regretted it! Great quality for kids!

These are a great option for school, especially if you have a child that doesn’t care for buttons (smh). They wash well. They don’t wrinkle terribly but they do wrinkle. And I think ours did shrink a little over time. Growing kids and dryer exposure may have contributed to my perception. Overall, a great option. I’ll be buying more!
