These shorts are perfect for school uniforms. They fit just below the knee, are soft and easy to put on. You can tell they are made with quality. I ordered two sizes of these for my 8 year old, who is in between sizes of an 8-10 and 10-12. These shorts do run smaller on the waste and there is not a huge size difference so I would recommend ordering a size larger or two than what your child wears ... show more

My son goes to private school and we have to buy uniforms. The pants are usually around $30-$40 but they only seem to be nice and regular colored for about 10 or so washings. I found French toast pants and they are amazing. I don’t know how they do it, but the color stays with the fabric and it’s just sturdy. We haven’t had any holes in them yet and they are still the same color they were when I bought them. They look so nice on my son. I will say the slim is very slim which if you gain any weight or grow, you will have to move onto the next size rather quickly. However, husky seems to be a little wider and longer, so you can be in the size that you currently are without having to move ahead to the next size. They just don’t look as neat as the slim so I think I’ll just keep getting the next size up when my son grows and use the slim because it has more of that tailored look. Overall I was able to buy four of these shorts and pants for about the cost of one pant from the uniform supplier my school uses. These last far longer than that of the uniform supplier as well.
