These FREESOO Custom Seat Covers for Outback 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 Full Set have a lot going for them, but they are somewhat difficult to install. I'll share my experience. First, these arrived quickly and were well packaged. I was surprised at the weight for the entire set. The quality seems good - thick, good stitching, reasonably good instructions (always a bonus), separate pieces for headrest, bottom of seats, and back of seats (if I count right, 12 counting headrests), and each piece is marked for where it belongs. I have to admit, it was pretty overwhelming when initially opening it up and trying to lay it all out. So much so, that I put it back in the box for a couple of months. This weekend, we had an unusually cool day so I thought I would get started. The covers go on; they go on well and fit; but, they are difficult to get on - my upper arms, shoulders, and neck are aching today. PRO TIP: For the backseat, remove the seat first. There are two places on the front of the seat where you can pull up and separate the locking pin, once you have it out it is much easier to install the cover. Next tip, which I failed to do, do the upright portion of the back seat while the seat cushion is out. Work carefully to get everything smoothed out and it looks pretty good. So, good things: quality, some decent directions, pieces marked, and a good thickness. Bad things: thickness makes it really hard to install (but, I guess we want that). Oh, and the headrest pieces are very difficult. Another negative - they are pretty pricey. So, overall, I think these are quality seat covers that fit the 2017 Outback very well and look good. They do, however, require patience and strength to get them in place and smoothed out. I also believe that they could redesign for improved installation without adversely affecting quality; although I am not sure how. I rate these as a good buy - once you get them properly installed, you should like them.

I had another set that was a one piece pull over for each front seat and although they started out good, I got tired of pushing them back into place. These have a separate piece for the seat and the seat back, so they stay so much better. I no longer have to fight them all the time. Even passengers would complain about the old covers, but most don't know that these are also covers since they fit so well. They are time consuming to install, but are worth it after you are done since they stay in place. Make sure to put the seat bottom on first before finishing off the seat back since they kind of all end up in the same place. I didn't get the leather seat option with my vehicle, but now you can't tell since these look so good. If you want good seat covers, don't hesitate to try these.

There are a lot of good qualities about these seat covers. They look decent and the quality and thickness of the material is good for durability. I would prefer that the material be a little thinner so that the covers could be more skin tight. Overall, the fit is good, though it can take some struggle to get them on properly. I imagine some people will need help. These are the things I think could be improved: The rear covers block the pull down cup holder armrest. It can still come down, but the seat cover has to be partially unzipped. The rear seat belt buckles become hard to access. Not impossible, but annoying, and even worse for the Subaru Outback because of the super loud and alarming seat beat buzzer. The material picks up fingerprints and marks really easily. They wipe off, but having some kind of cleaner on hand helps, as simply wiping with a cloth usually doesn't solve it. They are some saggy/baggy areas where th cover just won't stay tight. It stays on, but can still shift and occasionally has to be realigned. They look and feel pretty good. But between the cost and the drawbacks, I'm on the fence how long I'll use them. I really want the protection as I often have passengers that may not always be the cleanest or most careful, and often have cargo which could damage the seat fabric. If it weren't for those two things, I would not use the covers. I think the front covers are better than the back.

This was a birthday gift for a friend who wanted these colored seats but didn't want to pay for the upgrade. When I saw them, I knew he had to have them. Listen... these seat covers fit his seats perfectly, and they look incredible. It's money. They were easy to install, and the price is outstanding. They clean up nicely, and I really like them for my grandchildren. Their messes wipe up quickly. These are so worth it. They feel like genuine leather, durable, soft, and supple.

The colors are a close match, not a perfect match. That said, they are good looking. Bring your patience when installing and it is best to have an extra set of hands. The instructions are clear and well illustrated. Overall the covers fit snug and don't shift. They are well built and seem durable. Installation is a little more difficult if you have electric seats.
