Bought these for Bonnaroo, a music festival that is notoriously muddy.. I got them because I thought the color wouldn’t look bad muddy and they’d be comfy. these are like naturally mud proof! And I walked in a lot of DEEP mud! Everyone around me had muddy shoes and these looked clean the whole time the mud just fell right off! They’re so light weight, they’re easy to walk or even run in, and they’re very supportive, and the soles are bouncy. They are quite wide around the foot, I had to wear 2 pairs of socks after the first day because them being loose around my foot was giving me blisters on my soles (literally walking over 10 miles a day), but extra socks fixed it. They’re not easy to slip on and off, you have to tighten them all the way down the laces when putting them on and then loosen them to get them off, but it’s okay it’s worth it if you need something super practical and honestly cute they looked great with my festival outfits.

After buying another terrible brand for the same price I am relieved I got these! The other brand hurt my toes and the strap for the laces on one boot broke as I was tightening them. I was so unsure what brand to go with. These are good quality without a doubt. And soo comfortable. True to size, maybe slightly bigger. I usually wear thin socks and these fit fine. But there’s a little room for thick socks which is perfect. I really like the color- it’s like a matte black. Toes aren’t rubbing on the sides. The other pairs I’ve tried hurt my big toe like there wasn’t enough width. These don’t have that issue. The laces seem sturdy. Around the ankle and upward these are comfy. I don’t think they’ll rub or cause any irritation. They’re lightweight, not heavy at all. Easy to get on and off. And I think they’re super cute to be honest, especially compared to others I’ve seen on here around the same price.

I picked these up mainly for motorcycle riding, and so far, I’m impressed. They’re still in the break-in period, but even right out of the box, they felt surprisingly comfortable. The build feels solid and durable, with good ankle support—something I was really looking for. They’re not the most breathable boots out there, but that’s expected with this type of rugged design. For cooler weather or protection on the road, they’re ideal. I’ll update the review after more wear time, but for now, they’re definitely a great value and a worthy pick for anyone needing a dependable pair of tactical boots.

I tend to wear combat boots as my regular shoe, but I also do distance backpacking- this boot is great for both. I've only tested it for around total of an eight mile stretch so far, but the traction, quality, waterproofing, look and feel have been amazing- and so far they're scuffing less than even my usual overstock purchased army combat boots. They included two types of insole, thick and thin, which made it really easy to customize the 'fit' inside the shoe. I will say they do take some wearing in if you're tight lacing them up and want to put miles on- compared to other boots I've worn they're pretty easy on the feet during the wear in, but still. The only other thing to note is if you're planning on really hiking with them, (more-so in difficult terrain) they have good tread for most things, but they don't have that extra kind of spike grip you get from something like Asolos. (Still more than enough for cost and look, it hasn't caused me a single problem even in wet conditions.) The inside feels more like a running or hiking shoe, but the overall look and function perfectly mirrors my combat boots I've had before. Great product, and as far as sizing I'd say true to size- In some hiking boots I'm a women's 7.5B, (The narrow fit)- the .5 generally allows me room for thick socks during long treks. With these Hiking combat boots and the insoles provided, after reading some comments I went with a 7.0 standard and it fits Perfectly, even with thick socks. Genuinely one of my best purchases for the cost and quality, and I'm very pleased.

I enjoy wearing these boots a lot, they have pros and cons. Cons: they are not the most comfortable boots for a few reasons. 1) The dimensions for the height of the boot, combined with the give of the fabric, creates an indent in the sidewall of the boot that digs in to the side of my ankle. So, the top of the boot that goes up the leg doesn’t just sit flat against the skin, but rather has folds/creases that rub against the leg/ankle. It is very uncomfortable, and I have had to make a point of wearing thick socks when I wear these boots to avoid getting a blister in that place (though does not completely alleviate the soreness). 2) I do not recommend using these boots for hiking or exercise of any kind. It says it has holes to allow your feet to breathe, (and the fabric itself seems like it would breathe a lot) but I went on a short hike (about 3 miles) in these and my feet were swimming in sweat. It felt like i had 2 plastic bags wrapped around my feet. What I do like: 1) Traction. Great traction. 2) Light weight despite look and sturdiness. 3) Toe of boot has a steel-toe feel, but I don’t think is steel toe. 4) My favorite part about these boots - the laces! How the eyelets for the laces work, the laces glide through. Usually taking off and putting on boots like this is a time-consuming ordeal for someone with wide feet, but with these boots all I have to do is untie them, pull out on either side, and slip my foot out! Similarly for putting them on, just pulling on each side of the boot a bit is enough to open it enough to slide the foot in.
